They started off great, came and measured my window with a broken seal, quoted and returned with the replacement. The replacement glass was the wrong size. The put it in anyway, leaked like a sieve. They discussed replacing the window or putting the correct size glass then disappeared. Ended up calling Home Depot to finish the job. read more

We moved into a new house knowing there were several windows that had lost their seal and were very cloudy. We had Rob's Windows come to give us an estimate to replace the glass on 12 windows. They were timely, professional and the estimate was within reason with other estimates we received. Given the opportunity to deal with a local company over a better known brand, we will always choose the local, family owned company. We were not disappointed! They did a fantastic job for us. One window cracked on installation. They reinstalled our faulty window and ordered us a new window. That one was installed without issue. I would recommend Rob's Window and Repair without reservations! We also ordered a glass shower door from them. Ordered and installed without issue. They broke the seal on one of my windows by pounding on it with a hammer. They were fixing the balance. The windo× had been broken for years nut not the seal. Then they wanted a lot to repair the seal that they broke. Not right. read more

Good luck getting anything done by this company, or even get them to communicate with you about the status of the job. Been fooling around with them since 2/4/22 to get 2 storm doors & sliding glass door screen installed. 8/5/22 Doors were FINALLY installed. One of the strom doors is defective, closer doesn't work, door slams, & aluminum cover over the rolled screen falls off. They don't call or text with a status as I've requested multiple times. They don't call when they say they're going to. This may be the worst (lack of) service I've received from any company. read more

I found Rob's by happenstance as they were leaving a home on our street. Knowing that our windows needed attention I asked for a card and called the next day. My wife took point and called for a measurement appointment and to explore the depth and expense of the job. Honestly, I didn't know that having the glass in your windows replaced was a thing. It turns out it's a really economical option if you want to forego the cost of full on window replacement. Our windows were original equipment from the mid-80's but they were top of the line back then. We needed several of our fogged-out and blurry double panes replaced. A couple of our windows we opted to have Rob's just replace and they also repaired the crank hardware on one of our bays. Rob himself came out and met my wife for the measurement appointment, wearing a mask. She mentioned that he was wonderful to deal with. He quoted us for the work and we ordered the glass and the windows which was a two month lead time. Fast forward to installation day when the crew came. The owners son-in-law, Pat, came wearing a mask but later discontinued using it. He had a another employee arrive later that didn't wear a mask at all and didn't introduce himself. They were both very nice and very friendly to our little boy but it left my wife feeling uncomfortable that they didn't wear masks while in our home. They did lay down drop clothes through the main hallways but didn't lay them far enough into the rooms to meet the areas where they'd be working at the windows. Given the rainy weather and the leaves my wife had a lot to clean up that might have been mitigated by them wearing the blue service booties that most repairman use. At one point my wife heard glass breaking outside. Soon after she saw an installer with our leaf blower blowing off our front porch. Later we found large shards of glass all through our garden where our little boy likes to explore. It should've been cleaned up and mentioned by the installers, to be on the lookout for stray shards. Lastly, we realize that older windows can be difficult to remove but they damaged the inner molding on both windows they installed leaving one of the moldings cracked and the other scuffed and gouged. Again, this should've been a conversation they broached either before or after the fact to say "we're really sorry but this happened during removal...". My wife got the sense that they were in a hurry to finish the job and leave. They left a glob of caulk on our new screen and did a bit of a shoddy job with the caulking overall. When they left, they left the remaining invoice with the remaining balance, and left my wife to clean up the caulk drips, the floors, and the glass in the garden. The invoice they left had the wrong balance quoted. When I called to get it squared away there was initially some confusion about the pricing. I had to explain that it which was originally wrong due to them misquoting the number of glass pane replacements we requested. This, I thought, was cleared up beforehand but evidently not. That did all get resolved but all in all I'd recommend Rob's but with a few reservations. We felt that they should've followed back up after the job was complete to see how we liked everything but didn't hear from them. No worries. The windows and glass made a vast a improvement and we saved some cash...cleaning up after was the added price we paid I guess. read more

We had Rob's fix our porch windows in the Summer following a bad storm. They did an excellent job, so I invited them back replace an old garden window. They did another excellent job. The windows look great, and their workmanship and kindness are a welcome plus. The fact that it is a family owned business allows for this kind of review. A little over a month ago I sent this company an email asking them if they repaired vinyl windows. I have 4 that need repairing. NEVER received any response at all. Here's the kicker... I included my address which is about an 1/8 of a mile from robs on Golf Club Rd! Not a problem on my end... They will never do ANYTHING for me!
