Oh dear. I went to R&R a few weeks ago to get some keys cut for a new investment property we've bought to rent out. The chap who cut the keys was very friendly and the whole experience was positive. I then went to the new flat and found that the keys didn't work which wasn't ideal as the new flat is a few miles away from where we live and we don't drive. Not the end of the world, though, we just went back to R&R. Saw a different chap and he was very apologetic and went about fixing the keys. Unfortunately they still didn't work. A bit frustrated, I called R&R and explained I had now travelled by tube to a property some miles away twice and each time the keys didn't work. The guy I spoke to was immediately confrontational, belligerent and rude. Refusing to let me speak, he kept shouting over me and at one point told me I was stupid for having got keys cut far away from the property (missing the point that I live round the corner from R&R which is why I went there in the first place). I might have expected an apology for having been given a defective product twice, plus the ensuing hassle of going back and forth, but instead I was insulted and shouted at by an angry man. It's a real shame that this place employs such an irate little man to answer their phones when the guys in the shop are actually very nice. read more
