They just took my passport photo for a renewal for me a few months ago, and the lady was super detailed to make sure it met all criteria to get approved. My issue with Walgreens is the pharmacy. Since Covid, they have changed the days/hours they are open like 10 different times. They are generally rude, and prices change for prescriptions literally month to month. I have been meaning to switch to a local pharmacy forever.

We tried to get an appointment for some vaccines. The person on the line spoke very broken English, and the 2 of us could not understand her. She not only got our names wrong, but also the shots we wanted wrong. When we showed up for our injections, the counter person read what the phone receptionist wrote. It then took about an hour to untangle that mess, and get our names and meds straight. Seems like it took 3 people to do that, and when we got some scripts to go, my wife's name was still wrong on the label. So, they are nice folks, but it's not wise to put people new to English in charge of phone calls, or areas where information needs to be pivotal.

Today, one of my prescriptions was put on hold because they "could not find my insurance." I pay out of pocket. This is not the first time I've filled this prescription on a cash basis. The staff member at the counter offered no apology and no explanation unless I specifically asked for one. When I did ask, she was unable to tell me when the prescription would be ready. I later called to follow up, and the automated system could not locate the prescription at all. After nearly an hour on hold, I finally reached someone who would only tell me it would be ready tomorrow, with no further detail and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I have used other Walgreens locations out south without issue. This one is a different experience entirely.

After I told Jessica what insurance said she then said that's what she told me and that is not true she blamed the insurance and said they are working on someone else prescriptions I asked why are they not working to correct mine instead of blaming my insurance. I had occasion to be waiting in line indoors at the window for 20 minutes one evening and got to hear closeup first hand Walgreen traffic handling manners... their manners for the driveup customers... it was ugly and insensitive, the woman at the window should be out cleaning septic tanks, and the customer service sequence should be shown as a bad example in Marketing 101. Meanwhile the clerks trying to find scripts to hand out didn't have a clue where to look because they were never in the same place... it was a mad house... and it WASN'T real busy. UNORGANIZED. NO TALENT. Wonder what the employee turn over is, that should be a clue to somebody. Time to leave. They need a professional hatchet man to clean that place out top to bottom. An organizer to go in there and organize that place, it is a mess.
