The salesman's business card said he was a project manager -- but he was NOT certified and knew nothing of PMP certification... That's a lot like telling people you are a doctor when you have had zero training. Didn't hear from the salesman (I had expected a quote) for another two weeks. When I asked for a different sales person, the same sales person called me back. He said he was very busy. A few days later, I received proofs for my business signage. I asked two questions and never heard back from him. In the meantime, I went to a competitor and started the same process. The other company has already installed the sign on my building. I also got signage / wraps for my five trucks -- and I'm just getting started! FastSigns lost quite a bit of opportunity! I'm still waiting for FastSigns to get back with me. Obviously -- FastSigns is anything BUT fast! Ha! Avoid FastSigns. They don't know anything about customer service.

As a board member for the Homeless Alliance, I've also worked with them again recently on a project to help improve some of the Homeless Alliance's branding and marketing materials. These folks are wonderful to work with, and their process is fascinating. The name Robot House has a whole story and meaning, and the guys use it in the process of building a brand identity. You start by filling out a fun questionnaire that helps them understand what you do and why. They take those answers and come up with a "blueprint" where you get to go through with them and see their inspiration and influences they are using to put together the logo and other elements of a marketing plan. When they've cleared that plan with the client, they finalize the materials and present them to your group. They think of everything in this process, and it feels like you/the client are integral to the road map that led you to the final product. By the time you see the logo, you feel like you knew where it was going and you're ready for it. They really think about your other needs too and develop templates and pieces you can use to make it work for you across social media, print, web, etc. I have loved working with these guys (and, the amazing intern Sarah) and their process, and I'm all about working with them in the future.

They…read moredid a poor job on my banner lay out, would not return emails in a timely manner, told me a server crashed for 15 days and then rushed my order to print it the day before the event. Sending proofs I could not even read, and telling me they looked great on their end. The day of my event I picked them up in a hurry paid cash for them, and left. I got the event hung them and all the information was wrong, address, phone, they cut it to big so all the pictures looked to small and there was a lot of extra unused space. The lay out was horrible. Not to mention because they were over sized they didn't have enough grommets the hang flat so they buckled. I asked them to stamp them with their company logo if they thought the work was great and they did not. This event hosted thousands of people. I had to put the banners up because the space required it. After the event I sent an email letting them know I was not happy and wanted a refund. I did not wish for them to re make these banners. They were defensive, rude and downright insulting. The business person who referred me pulled her business immediately.. Josh and his wife are poor at communicating, do shoddy work at best and over charge for the poor work they are putting out. I give them a 0 they are the worst.

Let's just say, they really know what they're doing! I didn't really have much of a vision for the look of my brand or packaging, but they took what little ideas I gave them and turned them into gold! liquidfish is easy to work with. They're very customer service oriented, which is important to me. When working with them, you know your satisfaction is paramount. liquidfish keeps current on trends and relevant design for your product/business. I feel like my packaging can compete with any of the big brands on the shelves. I also feel that my packaging outshines all of my competitors' packaging who sell on the same level as I do at the moment (I am not biased at all ;);)). Additionally, due to their work, I feel very proud of my "brand". You can see the work they did for me on their home page, it's Jackpot Treats for Lucky Dogs ;) I get people coming up to me all the time, who don't even own dogs (and some who do), to tell me how great my packaging looks or to ask me who did my package design. Additionally, I have even gotten emails from people I don't know asking about it. I'm proud to tell them it's liquidfish because I feel comfortable recommending them to anyone who needs competent design, branding, or web/mobile work. I have asked them to do my website and some additional package designs for new products and I can't wait to see what they come up with!

I sincerely apologize for not being able to look at your source code and develop a proposal in a timely manner. It requires resources that are currently under the gun on pre-existing projects. I talked with a PM last week and thought initially we would have the time to analyze your project earlier in the week, but we have not. I'm sorry, but we just don't have the resources right now.
