Came here to Quik Pik Flowers after seeing glowing reviews on their Facebook page and also, Yelp. I've gotten flowers from here twice - once for my mother in law's birthday and the second time was for Mother's day. Both times - the bouquet that was put together was disappointing for the amount of money that we had spent. I don't want to say this but I've honestly bought better bouquets at convenience stores before.
First visit - The bouquet that was arranged was quite lacklustre and so we had thought that they had just an off day - it happens to everyone, we understand. There was only one girl working in the store so the wait time was quite long as she would stop every time when someone came in to buy a decorative ornament or a single flower. Not sure why there wasn't a second associate covering the till?
Second visit - After our first experience, we did not want to play the waiting game again so we called an hour to ahead to ensure that the bouquet would be completed prior to arriving there. I had carefully described what I had wanted in the bouquet in terms of colours and etc. I did also advise that I wanted something bigger even if it would cost me more - I had no problem paying for more flowers. This time, there was 2-3 ladies working in the store - the staff who acknowledged me in the store was cheery and upbeat. However, the cashier that I had dealt with was rather unpleasant and I felt like she didn't even want to ring up my flowers. I got a bit confused about how much cash I had given her (my bad) and she was extremely defensive afterwards - treating me as if I had tried to scam her. I tried leaving them a tip however her response was "we don't need your tip". Well perfect, I'd rather support small businesses that don't treat me like ****. read more
