As we passed by on US-64, I noticed the side on the back of the building. We whipped in -- okay, we drove past and made semi-Uey and returned to the business. Sis was not too keen on the place, but I yearn for barbeque wherever/whenever I can find it. I was impressed with the relatively extensive menu at such a business (it is a gas station after all). I got the jumbo pulled pork sandwich - and was quite satisfied with it. Not the best in the world, but I'd probably buy another sandwich when/if I'm ever starving in Waynesboro, TN again. Much happier with this choice than Sonic or McDonald's around the curve. :)

The potatoes are loaded and well cooked. I think they have around 5 diferent kind to choose from. You have your choices of meatless or meat. I got the barbecue pork one. It was delicious. The pork is placed on top of the loaded potato. The pork was a good portion and it was good. They do ask you what you if want a sause with your potato. I chosed a white sauce. It tasted like ranch to me. This potato is a meal. I also ordered a brownie. This brownie was o.k. it did not taste freshly made to me.it was served warm with ice cream. It came with a little package that had nuts. The restaurant is cute. It is the type of restaurant that you place your order and pay . You then sit and your meal is brought to you with a friendly smile.

Needless to say, since we didn't come here knowing that it was like that, we were pretty surprised when someone walked out to help us. The person was very nice. He was a younger guy, probably in high school and out of school for the summer. He chatted with us while filling up our car. He did a good job of being quick but not making us feel unwelcome. If I remember correctly, it wasn't even that much more expensive than going somewhere normal and doing it yourself, which we were also surprised by.
