Within a week, they had me run through a battery of tests and scheduled for surgery. Surgical staff was/is amazing. The check in process is very slick and efficient. Everyone, and I mean everyone is extremely friendly and engaging. You never feel alone, you feel like you are a friend and they are going to take care of you. That is probably the best way to explain. I had a few days of recovery. The Nursing staff was really incredible. They have a great process. As they rotate, they introduce themselves and get to know you. I think they work on the mind and soul as much as the body. My chemo and all follow-ups were in the same location. So it is a one stop shop. All labs and follow-up at the same place. I work in Beechwood and have one of the more modern hospitals available, but I would still go to Portage. It is not the most fancy, but as fare as staff and care goes, I don't honestly think you will find better.

My primary physician recommended Dr. Gupta. I could have gone to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or closer to home. I am so glad I listened to my Primary. Dr Gupta listened to me and my symptoms. We all work well together as a team. I am so fortunate at this time period to have Dr. Gupta's services. I am feeling better.

I love that there was a pool table and a kitchen area with snacks. There were tvs also. Nice staff and they have valet parking. I found a spot right by the door so I didn't use that service. The nurses took great care of me. I would absolutely return and see what offerings they have for my family. The beverage station was closed. I would try a tasty drink when I return during business hours

We arrived around 9pm on a Friday evening and was released around 4:30am, Saturday…read more I won't complain about all the boring details but I suffer from chronic pain and had not slept in about a week so I felt an ER visit was plausible. The care team from the X-ray and Dr Sales was good but everyone seemed stretched thin. Things to consider: *only 2 doctors working (average of 35 patients while I was there). *I was told they don't have a MRI. I was here about 3 weeks ago and x-rays were done without finding anything. The same x-rays were taken during this visit....no findings.
