Really should be renamed "Slow Chek." I stopped getting made-to-order food there after several instances of very slow service, but I decided to give them another chance this morning. My expectations were pretty low, obviously. There were a couple of people waiting for their food when I put my order in, so I assumed I'd be there for a while. Then, after all those people left, it turned out that somehow one of them had taken my food and left one of their sandwiches behind. How that happened - whether the counter guy had somehow switched the sandwich orders by mistake, or the other folks were eager to leave, I don't know. To his credit, the counter guy quickly apologized and made my sandwich for me, apologizing again as he handed it to me. So, yeah, an extra half-star for taking one for the team, and the sandwich was good, but still, I'm mystified as to why it takes so long to get a sandwich made here. read more

This was my first time here. It's during covid so no real interaction and none of the poor customer experience that the other reviews mentioned. It's really clean inside and my turkey sandwich was ready immediately after I paid. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the turkey was good quality, which made me happy because I looked at pictures online and thought it would be too good to be true . The person who made my sandwich said "you're welcome" when I said thank you and that was all for interaction because the registers are self-CHEKout. *TO THE MANAGER* Hi, I think you should know how how employees YELL about you and how VERY disrespectful they are. Here is my whole experience. I had stopped in to get a coffee. I had to make a mixture of different coffees as multiple dispensers were empty. Then upon checkout my item was scanned while 2 employees had come in from outside to talk to the cashier while I was still checking out. They were loudly telling the cashier about how the manager wasn't coming until later to fix the problems because she partied too hard last night because she went to a wedding. How they called her at 2 AM to fix the problem and she was to drunk and didn't care about fixing the problem. He's talking back and forth while I am still waiting. Cashier informs me that the card reader isn't working -the problem- and tells me I can use an ATM. Never used an ATM ever. Should have been informed prior. The one loud boy then proceed to yell over my shoulder ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE BUILDING to the sandwich counter to tell the guy over there HEY, SHES NOT COMING IN TODAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF SHES TOO DRUNK and more details that shouldn't be shared* So, please, have a talk with your employees about how they should act around customers and their unacceptable behavior. read more

I was super excited for this place to go up, but wow it was such a let down. I went in the other day, in a rush, just to pick up a snack to bring to work. I decided to help myself at the self checkout because the cashier was helping another person. Well I encountered an issue with self checkout; it wouldn't scan my second item, as if it froze. I looked and saw that the young lady, the cashier, wasn't helping anyone else so I signalled to her with a smile. We made eye contact and she proceeded to ignore me. I would've been ok with if if she just said some along the lines of, "One moment miss," but she didn't. So I figured ok I will just try to help myself and go to a different self checkout that was open; so I went over to the other self checkout. As I am ringing my items up I hear her talk loud and agressively to another employee, saying, "I can't believe people nowadays, they think I can just stop what I am doing and help them. They can't just wait a f*cling minute. Unbelievable." This made me upset, but I figured whatever I'm not getting involved as I am already late. And than of course this machine also froze when I was trying to complete the payment. The cashier was now over in the corner counting change (or whatever she was doing) the machine kept saying "please wait for assistance" so that is what I did, I waited for assistance. I was standing there waiting for aong time while she was neglecting me. Then a fellow employee (a gas attendent) came up to her and told her she had a costumer. She than gave me a side eye and did nothing about it. Then a very helpful employee came over and was very eager to help me. I told him that I had been neglected for a long period of time and he was very disappointed to hear that. All in all that girl made me late to my job and made me never want to return to that quick check ever again. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WAWA TO OPEN DOWN THE STREET!!!! read more

Sandwiches and drinks beat Wawa's any day and their rewards program actually rewards you. The store is so clean although they need a trash can in the Tesla lot (yes they even have Tesla superchargers). Got to give it to the night crew. They work so hard with few people. Erick is one of the hardest workers I've seen in any retail/food service establishment and always is so polite and well kept. Mariuxi is one of the hardest working managers I've ever seen. Sam and Jay are 2 of the friendliest gas attendants probably anywhere in NJ. read more

I wish there was an option to put NO STARS on this review. My husband brought home subs tonight from the NEW quick check in Cranford. The bread was horrible, like it was bought from a supermarket and the meat had no flavor at all and the roast beef on my husbands sub didn't even look right. I had to question what it was! There was nothing good about this sandwich at all. I feel as though they use the cheapest ingredients. Go to a different place for a sandwich or sub!!! read more
