They charged me $5500+ to dry out a 25sq ft portion of a wall, neglected to secure my roof from further water intrusion which led to additional water damage, then refused to take responsibility for their failure. They fabricated responses to their failures. They refused to provide costs for their services until after the fact. They refused to provide the daily hours they charged me when I requested a breakdown itemization of their invoice. Bottom line... you have choices and my experience with Next Level has been devastating so for what it's worth, pick another company and trust this review!! I will forever be changed by this experience and not in a good way. I'm even wondering if all these good reviews were written by their employees as deceptive as I found them to be. Update after response from company: Wow!!! In my opinion, you really have a hard time telling the truth Matt. Not only did I not know what you were charging me for drying out my walls after repeated emails asking for the costs I was incurring I was in fact told that I could not be given the costs until your equipment was removed. ( I have the email to prove it so don't say otherwise.) So, I had zero idea what I was being charged until I received the invoice 7 days after you started. If I had known you were going to charge me $5500 to dry out a wall I would have never allowed you in my home. You failed us and you absolutely refuse to take responsibility for it. Your crew had to come out on the 18th after the driving rain storm because your crew left the window open that day in the containment area causing us more water damage and your roofer caulked a hole in the roof as a temporary fix that was a complete fail. We were told that would keep the water out until the actual repairs could be done and that was absolutely not true based on the flood of water that came in that night. The additional four days needed to dry out my wall was caused by your neglect!!! Period. You failed. Accept it. Stop trying to blame it on me Matt. I'm not a roofer. I'm not the water remediation company - you are!!

Yes, I would highly recommend this company Rockefellers restoration and cleaning. I have had two…read moreunexpected projects resulting from water damage. The first one was rainwater coming in through the roof down the inside walls of an upstairs and downstairs bedroom causing mold that had to be removed and flooring & drywall that had to be replaced. Cole Borgeson handled everything with my insurance company to get the project started on the first job providing accurate quotes for the repairs. The second job was an unexpected pipe leak inside the wall on the stairway on New Year's day. This time I called my insurance company (USAA) to request again that they use Rockefellers for the repairs as I had such wonderful service from their subcontractors Daniel Rodriquez (Homestar painting) and Tim Gallegos (Tim's Flooring Covering) that I wanted to have the same crew again. On both Projects the Project Manager's (Christopher on the first job) and Sarvar (on the second job) assigned were great and very professional. At each phase of the job that took place they were there to supervise that the work was being completed. If I had any suggestions or questions they were immediately helpful. I love the outcome of both bedrooms especially replacing the carpet in one room with flooring. And, the wall repair on the stairs we changed the color from white to a sand color which accent the wall beautifully that you notice right away when walking into the house. Again, highly recommend their service.

I had a leak in my roof in January of 2026, I call American Restoration. They come out quickly, tarp the roof, and set up fans to air out the leak. They say they'll come back to pick up their equipment and get a test for asbestos so they can begin demolition of the leak. Weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call to inquire, they say they lost the sample and need a new one. No communication whatsoever. Finally, they begin work a few months later, they find crazy mold in our ceiling and say they will send pictures to insurance to cover the cleanup. Great. They finish the demo and say they will be back next week to patch up the hole in the ceiling. A week goes by, then another. Eventually, it is the end of April 2026, going into May and I still have a giant hole in my roof. I contact Angel, my project manager, multiple times throughout this, he says he is waiting on insurance approval to go ahead with the rebuild. I'm no expert in this but why would you begin demo without the go-ahead to rebuild. I say I will pay in advance to begin the refurbishment process. I call insurance, he says they haven't sent him anything. Turns out we hadn't paid our deductible yet so that's why labor had paused. Mind you, throughout this process I am given random quotes of costs of labor, and percentages I have to pay upfront in order for work to be done or paid off, all via email not any formal receipt of anything . Eventually, the roof is repaired after five months. Our deductible has been fulfilled, we leave Restoration to get their remaining funds from our insurance broker and believe the deal is done. Months later, it is now July, I am getting an email that I am about to be sent to collections for unpaid funds. For the Mold Removal back in March. I email back asking where this fee came from, the insurance already paid them for the interior. I call insurance again, turns out they never sent the Mold pictures to insurance so they were unaware of this process being done to begin with. My insurance cuts a check, a few days later I get ANOTHER email stating the balance is still unpaid. I have to tell them the check should reach them in a few days and if not then to contact me. I wake up again this morning and have yet another email stating another fee is unpaid and that they "miscalculated" what was due. I am personally very tired of this, and now have to direct them immediately to my insurance to deal with. Stay away from this company like the plague.

November 20 2025 my bricked in mailbox and front shrubs were destroyed by a drunk driver. Upon…read morecontacting my insurance company I was informed that Belfor restoration was their direct repair company. Taking this as a recommendation I contacted them for repairs. First attempt involved a terrible job that included the brick layer hiding scrap brick on the side of my house and washing out his mud bucket used for mixing cement on my back patio and washing blobs of cement into some ground cover. I contacted them and someone was sent out to clean it as best they could. The job was terrible looked like hell with cement smeared on the outside of the structure bricks misaligned and huge gaps. I contacted the general manager and she came out and looked at the job agreeing that it was "unacceptable", a second attempt was made where the workman tried to rebuild it. He ran out of bricks stating he would be back the next day to finish. Several days later he returned and completed the top of the structure then wrapped the structure to prevent freezing. After the required wait I unwrapped the job to discover that it had been completed with the wrong color. I then discovered that the rebar that was supposed to reinforce it was instead hidden in a large juniper. I contacted the general manager again explained the situation and said the job was not acceptable. She contacted me back stating they wanted to do an "acid wash" to try and blend the colors and remove the excess cement that had been once again left smeared on the outside. I replied acid washing was a cleaning process used in restoring color to existing work and would not resolve the structural deficiency caused by the missing rebar which had been part of the original structure. Since then I have been stone walled with no communication although my insurance company has spoken with them several times and received promises that the would be done in two weeks. This has been repeated several times with nothing being done. After eight months of trying to get a job done thirty six e mails and countless phone calls I can only conclude that Belfor restoration has no interest in doing the job properly and in my opinion are a bunch of crooks. For anyone that would like to be cheated, mistreated and abused I would recommend them in a minute. Thirty six e mails numerous phone calls and eight months later I have the worst looking crap mailbox in the neighborhood. Thank you, Mark Mellone

Everything else was in totes. As they were moving our stuff around, they broke an antique lamp that was my stepmoms after she passed, dumped a totes of family pictures on the wet carpet and instead of picking them up, they left them on the wet carpet and stacked stuff on top of them. Set stuff on top of the laptop. That's just things we could see wrong. We're still not back in apartment. This company gets help from a temp service that hires Hispanics that DON'T speak any English. It's bad enough we're displaced because of the water main break but to have strangers in our home moving our stuff with NO respect just makes it worse. On site manager told us to take pictures and file a claim with our renters insurance with the stuff they broke. WOW just WOW. How can you give this company a star for ratings? In order to post this review, it requires at least one star but really it's not.
