Well for starters the car is never dry after the wash, and I usually have to scrub out bird poop…read morethat's leftover after going through the wash. Cancelling a plan is not easy and the customer service (via the phone service) is very unhelpful. While on hold you can be quoted a two minute wait time, only to have no one pick up, or return your call after being asked to leave a voicemail. (This has happened now multiple times.) On one occasion all of the vacuums were also shut off, but this has since been fixed. But of course it was the day I really needed them that they weren't working. On another occasion the attendant argued with me about "not having a valid plan" even when I showed her my proof of expiration date, SENT TO ME BY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM. Whoever runs the call service doesn't communicate with the establishment and that's a huge fault for this business. I get that the lady was just trying to do her job but it's a bad look when someone is arguing over a receipt that clearly shows when the plan was set to expire. She honored the car wash but seemed like she was irritated anyways. Don't understand why that's my fault when I provided her with the payment information. If I was in her shoes I'd be taking that up with the customer service team handling cancellations via the phone. Weird to have a full blown conversation about "how that's not how we do things" with the customer. I don't like leaving reviews like this but I'm officially over it. The last straw has been the lack of response from the customer service team who handles cancellations. It's been two days now that I've been calling without anyone picking up, or calling me back. We started coming here because it was convenient but now it's honestly just a headache. Would rather just wash it myself. Their value packages are a great deal but it's just not worth the trouble. Edit/Update: changed my review from 2 stars to 3 stars because Maria from the phone/customer service team was able to help resolve my cancellation after calling back again. She noted that cancellations can be done via the website or via phone; which is important information because I had always been told you needed to call in to cancel or physically visit the car wash location. They have emailed receipts for cancellation before but did not this time because they didn't "have my information" despite my license plate number being the same on both occasions where I had signed up for a monthly plan. Im sticking to what I said about the communication is key part though. This business could have a great thing going if they were able to more clearly communicate their rules/expectations between all employees to ensure a better customer experience. Thanks for reading. Business need not respond to this because I don't need anything else from this establishment. Thanks for the experience!

tl;dr - be prepared to wait, bring cash but it's worth it…read more I couldn't remember the last time I actually washed my car much less detailed it. My kid got juice on the car seats, there were other unidentified stains and crumbs everywhere. It was to the point where I didn't even want to drive it anymore. I first came about 4 pm on a Friday and the place was packed. It was kind of confusing so I just got out of my car and looked for someone. A guy came over (don't know his name) who quoted me for a full detail and the price was excellent. However, the owner also came up and said he couldn't fit me in that day but if I came back the next morning around when they opened, he'd take care of me. It was fine because I didn't have cash as Yelp said they take credit cards (they don't). So I came back. And the two men remembered me and hooked it up. I waited for about two hours. They have a little seating area and I just sat there with my coffee and my earbuds. My car, which is seven years old, looked brand new. I don't even know how they got all the stuff out of those seats. I was pretty amazed how they kept track of things. Most other people I saw were there for the regular detailing which is only $30. The owner thanked me for waiting and told me to come more often so it wouldn't take so long lol. I also tipped them over 20% because their prices are so awesome compared to other places that I still think they undercharged. I spoke to them in Spanish but they speak English as well.

What I like is that it has free vacuuming if you ever need it in a pinch and essentially the same services as Mister Carwash. They have a subscription service and I chose the ceramic package for a few reasons....my car is newer, there's too much pollen here, and emergency washes like bird poop. I also love the dumb duck mascot and branding. When you wash your car, you need to align your front left wheel to their grate thing and put it on neutral. I'm a scardey cat. I hate car washes. They feel claustrophobic when the car moves on its own. However, you can see the Duck Logo beamed at your car. It's part marketing genius and great distraction tool for scardey cats like me. In the end there is an adorable stop light that is duck, red, duck red, duck green go. It's dumb and cute. My husband isn't convinced I'll justify the subscription, but I'm willing to try it. Why not? At worst, I cancel it and just pay as needed. My car was shiny in the end, which is what I was going for if we're being real. Definitely would come again.

And don't try calling or emailing, they'll ignore you until they think you'll go away. Lousy service, horrible ethics, Quick Quack will do whatever they can to scam a customer.

I've been praising Eagle Hand Car Wash for years. I've always gone to their location in The Heights…read moreon Shepherd. This was my first time visiting their location on Beechnut. I stopped by on a Thursday close to 6 p.m. The reason Eagle Hand Car Wash is top of the line is simple---they clean your car better than almost any other car wash out there. This is because everything is done by hand. You're not going through an automated car wash where your car comes out kind of clean. Here, they wash and dry the exterior of your car by hand. They also vacuum the interior (including your trunk) and wipe down all surfaces including your steering wheel, dash, door handles, etc. Since they do such an exhaustive job, it's going to take longer than your typical car wash. And they're more expensive than your average car wash. A basic wash for a small car is $26. All in all, it's worth it. The interior wait area isn't too impressive but that's not why I visit. It's all about how fresh my car looks afterwards.

The two guys working the back of the car wash looked completely checked out. One was more interested in his phone than the customers, and both of them half-assed the pre-spray like they couldn't be bothered to do the job correctly. Their attitude screams, "I don't want to be here," and it shows in the quality of the wash. If you're going to charge customers every month, then hold your employees to a higher standard. Attention to detail and basic professionalism shouldn't be optional. The frustrating part is that the rest of the staff actually works hard. They're friendly, they hustle, and they do their best to keep customers happy. Unfortunately, a couple of employees are dragging down the reputation of everyone else. Management needs to address this. Either expect people to put their phones away, take pride in their work, and treat paying customers with some respect--or find employees who will. Customers shouldn't have to pay premium prices for half-hearted service. -- Que
