The person at customer service said the teller was wrong and that the check would be deposited incrementally starting the next day. Guess what, no money had shown up in my account 5 days later! The funds availability act of 1997 stipulated that a 7 day hold on the full amount of the funds is only in the case that they think the check is fraudulent. I called customer service back, no help. Called the bank to speak with the branch manager, oh she's not available. Do not do business with this bank! Their customer service is non existent! They will lie to your face with a smile! Certus better step up their game...they're relatively new to the Greenville market, having just put a big branch in the middle of downtown...because if this is the service customers can expect, they won't be customers very long.
