It was cool to see the wrecked train car and the waterfall was beautiful. Everyone on that trip was so nice and having a great time. Trent and Kalie (sp) and the red haired guy - as well as all of the rest of the guides were wonderful. The only issue we had was trying to find you! Our GPS went goofy. We stopped at Carol's diner (like a truck stop) and asked directions. There was a gentleman there who was leaving and led us right to you. An absolutely WONDERFUL DAY! - Barb and Bruce Miller and Carl.

Fun and unique experience…read more We booked several months in advance. The place is in the middle of nowhere so be prepared and bring food and drinks. You end up in a large parking lot and there is a store you check in at. They have bathrooms and some gift shop items. Plus several places to take pictures while you are waiting. You are given a brief safety demonstration and then are assigned a cart. Even though you go out as a group you are spread out and it feels like a solo experience. We were surprised by how fast the carts get going. It is very much like a train with all the noises and vibrations. Some people bought cushions to sit on. You travel along a river so it was very scenic. With beautiful fall foliage views. After traveling about 6 miles you stop for a quick break while they turn the carts around. There is seating and a river to view and have a quick snack. Then you are back on the cart for your return trip. Staff was great!

We did the Hunters Revenge room and everything worked really well, the puzzles were smart and took time and thought. The room was well monitored by the staff, clues were provided as needed in a timely fashion. The real thing I want to focus on is the time and effort put in by the staff to make this a great player experience. The set design was great, good story, just a lot of time and care was put into this and it was worth it. I've gone to some crummy escape rooms that are clearly just thrown together, the people running this have a passion for escape rooms, as a player it shows.

It was way beyond our abilities, but fun nonetheless. The staff members were incredibly nice and helpful from booking to finish (we did not win, for anyone wondering). While we probably won't be visiting Charleston again, I would recommend it to anyone staying or passing by looking for something fun to do.
