    I have been getting my blood drawn at this location for over 15 years. Over the past several years…read moremost of my experiences have not been great, and a few were awful. When phlebotomists have trouble getting a good stick, they often say my veins "roll". According to those technicians who have no trouble finding a good vein have told me that veins do not roll, that's it's simply inexperience or incompetence. About 8 years ago I passed out when the technician stuck me numerous times in the same area to find a vein. They didn't even have ice for the back of my neck, but they did have a frozen fish. Another time I was "going down" it was a package of frozen peas. I wish this were a joke. My recent visit likewise didn't go too well. I do all the right things to prep: arm exercises, I drink copious amounts of water, and always ask to be reclined. I'd been treated for BC & had lymph nodes removed on my left side. Blood shouldn't be drawn on that side.I made mention of this to the tech, and she had never heard of this & needed to confirm with her fellow tech. It seems to me that this would be rudimentary knowledge. Once again to my disappointment, the tech struggled to find a vein. After 2 tries she used a butterfly. The photo shows the result after 4 days. If you have encountered problems with blood draws, you may want to go elsewhere or request the most experienced phlebotomist available.

She seems like the type who can't work well with others so they stuck her somewhere on her own, but people like that should never be left on their own, they should have other employees keeping rude staff in check, professional and accountable. Just what someone needs when they get bloodwork, to feel more uncomfortable

    The office personal are completely incompetent! My daughter dropped off medical forms weeks ago…read more They couldn't find them, and didn't put in a request for blood draw as requested. More forms, more requests. Weeks later, they forgot to ask the Dr., to sign forms and issue request. Blood finally drawn a week later. The day my daughter was to leave the state for grad school and teaching, they LOST THE FORMS!! She had to dash down there with new forms and hope that there was a Dr. in to sign them! GROSS INCOMPETENCE at the highest level. Needless to say, she will be switching physicians when she's back home. I do live in Southbury CT, Why it comes CA, I have no idea.

    Horrible Office Staff!!…read more It took one month for the office staff to fill out a medical form and submit it correctly to the pharmacy so that my mom could get glucose measuring strips. One month!! In the meantime, I let them know she had none and was not able to measure her glucose even though she was diabetic and they could care less. I would call and get the answering service because they now hide behind it and would leave urgent messages and they would be ignored. I called and demanded to speak to them and yet again they refused. They are horrible! They put the doctors at risk of being sued because of their incompetence. Imagine a diabetic not being able to measure their glucose level and they could care less. She's 78 and they couldn't be bothered to fill out the form correctly. Pharmacy called 6-7 times and I called them 4-5 times and they still couldn't get a simple form filled out and faxed. The staff is incompetent and they do not care about the well-being of the patient. Dangerous ....
