I've been here a couple times in the last few months and must say, I'm impressed with the process/organization. Usually not too crowded (if you walk in) and you have the option to wait in your car until it's your turn (text notifications). The staff has always been friendly and courteous - given how overworked and understaffed they are, I think they're doing a wonderful job. read more

I had a great experience. My only reason for not giving five stars is that it would be nice to have an option to check in if you happen to be much earlier than expected. I arrived 35 minutes early and could check in via text only 10 minutes before my scheduled time. That said, I was impressed with the cleanliness and modernity of the waiting room and the professionalism of the staff. The person who took my blood (named Z) was terrific. The parking was also excellent. I would go back to this location in a heartbeat. read more

a tech came into my home, did a osteoporosis test on my arm, I looked at the lap top screen, and saw the results. I asked him if he would let me have the results, then? He said, he would, instead, send them to my primary, immediately. I thanked him, drove over to my primary doctor to start the treatment for an abysmal osteoporosis reading. That was 8 days ago, no communication from Quest..to me, my health care Provider,or Aetna Eagle...has been sent for the Osteoporosis screen. Quest has told my insurance company, within 30 day, they will mail ,out the results? Aetna Eagle has asked Quest to put a rush on this.... My treatment has been put on hold, until the doctet receives the results. read more

Went there with a disabled friend. We completely forgot our insurance card and prescription, but the nurse Monica was very cool, calm and collected and made a couple phone calls to the doctor and took care of us. She went above and beyond and I can't thank her enough. read more

Great staff but the office is dirty and falling apart. I'm sure Quest makes plenty of money. Please supply your staff and patients with an appropriate environment to conduct their work. read more

They "take walk ins" but must only have one really slow phlebotomist because in the 45 minutes I sat there, only 3 people were seen. When I first arrived no one was at the front desk for over 15 minutes and no one took my insurance or other registration information. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I know the virus is going on but even before this the staff is terrible. They are always in a bad mood and treat you awful. I just came today to drop off a sample and one of the staff members yelled at me. I have seen them yell at other people even the elderly. It's so bad I want to contact the BBB. They also yelled at an old man in walking with a cane and he had a question and asked me instead and said because he didn't want to get yelled at again. Terrible read more

An EXTREMELY refreshing change from prior visits to other Quest labs (Maplewood). Admittedly, its been a few years since I've had to use Quest, but I was braced for the overcrowded waiting room, long wait, and surly staff I had had before, only to find... a beautiful space, in a rehabbed old industrial building, just 2 people in the nicely-outfitted waiting room, a wait time of less than 5 minutes, a super friendly and cheerful phlebotomist (Megan), and an appointment that totaled less than 30 minutes between walking in and walking out. If you're having bad experiences at other Quest locations, try this one! read more

The staff here was TERRIBLE! I get it that they're busy with covid, but they were so nasty and unhelpful. An older gentleman was asking about procedure and politely stated he was hard of hearing and the woman that worked there was SO nasty to him it really upset me. Their procedures for sign in are not clear and there's really no one available to help. Luckily other people in the waiting room helped. The wait was over two hours which is okay but at least TELL ME!. The shitty sign in computer said 40 minute wait- two hours is triple that estimate. My job is 100x harder than their job and I would never be so rude and dismissive to anyone, and if I did I'd be fired on the spot as I should be. read more

I was able to make a same day appointment at the Red Bank location. Unfortunately my timing was off and I arrived 50 minutes early and checked in via the kiosk in the lobby. I sat down and to my surprise I was given a 2 minute wait time. Anna, the phlebotomist immediately took me inside the room to begin. A little about me, I'm a very bad stick, my veins are tiny, I'm also extremely phobic to the point of vomiting or a full blown panic attack. So multiple sticks or fishing really screws me up. And the topper is I'm hearing impaired and rely on lip reading, so masking makes it really hard. Anna let my husband come in to help and keep me calm. Let me tell you his woman is awesome! She gathered my information for the computer, put it in and proceeded to perfectly hit my vein on the first try. She didn't even need to tell me to stay still or tell me I would be feeling a pinch. Boom it's in my vein and I'm out within 10 minutes. I hope Anna's working the next time I need bloodwork. She's the best phlebotomist I've ever had. read more

Arrived 8:05 for 8 am appointment. Covid checked in then checked in myself. System responded wait would be 15 mins, did I wish to wait in car or in room. I chose room. Room is dirty. they tape the chairs that you cant sit for social distancing purposes and dust and dirt collecting under the tape. One guy left a cup and napkin on his seat, was there for an hour, nobody cleaned up. (You have to wear a mask here.. not for covid, but for the filth. Anyway, a girl comes out to announce to all that if no appointment, no guarantee to be seen. Someone asked "for today" and she yelled "Forever!" There is never a guarantee. She cleared the room. As new people came in, they got called. after an hour when the lady came out I said how long I have been waiting. She said there was no appointment for me there today. So frustrating. She said if I was late the system wouldn't allow me to complete check-in. I informed her it did allow and it said 15 min wait and I chose waiting room. I also said I had a confirmation. She ended it by saying "there was nothing there for me today" and I left. Funny I texted my wife as soon as I arrived and said this place is a shit show.. I had now idea at that point how right I was. I would advise to go elsewhere. Terrible experience. read more

Have always walked in, and never waited longer than 10-15 minutes. Beautiful old coal/feed facility, nicely renovated. Comfortable, with kiosk check-in and friendly staff. Never had a bad stick. Compared to Quest's facility a few miles away in Little Silver, this wins by 20 lengths. read more

Horrible experience. I was just dropping off some samples for testing but had to wait 48 minutes with all the other patients who needed actual service and nurse help. No explanations were heard. Front desk person not even present there. Extremely inefficient. They are really good at wasting patients time. I will do my best to avoid this place at all cost. read more

I never post a review on Yelp, but my experience here was truly so terrible that I feel I must! I made a 7 AM appointment. Once I arrived (early-- about 6:45 AM), I was quickly checked-in and sent back. I said good morning to my phlebotomist and she gave me the meanest look and said nothing. Fine, I don't really care. But then, it was time to get the blood work. My lab slip from was on my phone in my patient portal, not printed out-- I had looked up Quest's policy online, and they said digital slips where fine. However, the phlebotomist was SO nasty and berated me for not having it printed. She literally yelled at me about it and demanded I leave, print it, and return later. I tried to calmly ask her if there was a way to print it in the office-- she said the office has no printers, but there was one sitting 1 foot from us on her dest, which I pointed out. Still, she demanded I leave and print it and come back (reminder, it's 7 AM so there are no Staples open). I could understand if they just can't accommodate printing in that location for whatever reason, but her tone and attitude was so overboard rude for NO reason. I ended up finding a place to print it and came back 30 mins later; they then made me wait 45 mins as a walk-in appointment. I'm only giving this 2 stars because my second phlebotomist, Vanessa, was super nice and accommodating and the polar opposite of my first one (she personally gets five stars!). I get that it's a stressful time with COVID, but the office being nearly empty at 7 AM you would think they wouldn't mind simply printing a slip-- or if they really can't, and least not barking at you. PS-- they ended up printing my co-pay receipt on a normal printer-- literally every examine room had their own printer!! read more

Extremely poorly managed office. A roomful of patients and no person on hand to answer questions. You sign in electronically and a monitor gives you the wait time. My wait time of 11 minutes changed multiple times on the monitor and stretched into an hour, with no clue as to when I might be called. Others who arrived later were called ahead of me; when I finally went into the exam area to inquire about why, I was met with anger and annoyance by the overwhelmed staff. When asked to speak with a supervisor, I found she was rude and unhelpful and acted as if the entire issue was my fault. The system is a complete mess at this office. read more

Been going to this location for several years now and it's been great. Staff is friendly enough when you consider their job is tomorrow people along, but always professional. Never had to wait nor then 30 mins- but usually less than 15 (see comment about keeping people moving). Hours can be tight, but they have enough late nights and Saturday hours, so it's fairly convenient. 5 stars. read more
