Very nice staff and got us in and out in no time. Come here with an appointment because if not you will be waiting on standby for some time. The reviews for this are weird because a lot of them complain about getting charged a fee when they said it would be free. They take your card and put it into the system in case your insurance doesn't cover everything. They don't actually charge the card today. I went to Quest for some basic tests. One test, I do at home. The test that I took home is missing information so, I can't send it off. I called Quest and spoke to someone who told me to "call quest on the 'bat phone' because they answer that phone. I called the number I was given and I've left 3 messages... so, I HAVE the test and I'm scheduled to go over the results with my doctor but, I can't get ANYONE to return my call. I love the people at quest but the past 3 times I've had some sort of issues that never gets resolved. Very disappointed- I'd like SOMEONE to call me back! This is an important test! read more

The care given to people is terrible. When I got there, there was nobody in the front office/waiting room. There was no fountain to drink some water, which would be great considering the reason for the test. When they called my name, they open the door and I asked for maybe a cup of water And she said sorry once you come to the door, we can't give you anything to drink. Mind you there was nothing outside and nobody to talk to.. she took me back to her room and sat me in a chair and next to me in the chair where a bunch of little water bottles again I asked for one and she said sorry you can't. She began taking my information when a girl was seated across from me. She seemed to be maybe 16 or 17 and obviously very nervous. The woman that was helping me then asked me to follow her back to the room. I asked her can we wait a few minutes until I feel ready? Her response was no we already started the test. We only have four minutes... she gave me a bag and said make sure it's not open which I did. I go into the room luckily I had enough in me. I get out and she's like oh that's plenty and reaches into a cabinet and grabs another cup and divides it among the 2 cups. Mind you she asked me to see that the bag wasn't open, but yet grabbed a cup out of another cabinet. That was very odd to me. We go back to the chair the girl that was there at this point is now looking like she's about to faint. She was pale white. She said she doesn't feel very well. I recommended that they put her feet up to help and maybe give her some orange juice or apple juice. The woman helping her seem very frustrated and in a rude tone, asked for somebody else to go in there. At this point there's three people who work there now in a room and they completely disregarded my recommendations. Their response was no we can't do that. Mind you this is somebody's daughter who is probably never had to do something like that by herself. Ultimately, they told her to put her head down and they put a rag on the back of her neck. The whole process would make you seem like you're a lab rat and they couldn't care less so I would not recommend this place read more

Only go to the Babcock location if you have no other choice. You will be Shoved in a waiting room with 40 other coughing people, rough speaking phlebotomists who yell at you to hurry up because they are late. You will be just a number. You deserve better. VERY CLEAN FACILITY I had too ask them if they would wait for me too to go buy a bottled water because there water cooler was broken they gave me a free bottled water . The employee Kasandra took my blood and I FELT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and she GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.! When I saw how much blood she had drawn I said is there anything left? I would give them zero stars if I could. Unfortunately I had to have a blood test and Quest is in my network. After going to Quest I'm calling my insurance company asking for future reference who else I can use even if I have to pay more. I arrived to standing room only waiting area with no seats available. I stood in line to check in, iPad style. Check in was easy for me but I felt badly for the elderly that weren't comfortable using it. The staff was not helpful to them when they asked questions, but instead acted annoyed and short tempered. I've never seen a medical staff so nasty to old folks IN MY LIFE. I sat and watched while I waited for my turn. All the employees hate their jobs apparently by the way they treat patients, or they're underpaid. They all seem angry. Finally my turn came I'm called back into room 1. Nurse Ratchet (not her real name) processes my paperwork, super shitty attitude. I try to make small talk. She's not cracking. An employee is leaned up against the wall eating cough drops then comes immediately over and takes my blood while arguing with how many of a certain type of patient they have to take before then end of the day. The place did not seem very clean either. When they finished with me they smacked an inch piece of tape over the cotton on my arm that fell off as I walked out the door. If you need testing done go else where! Even if you have to pay extra. It's evident this place is all about profit and doesn't care about their patients or employees. Next step is calling my insurance company to share how awful Quest is. read more

I see more professional people in Mcdonald. The place is OK, waiting room looks like a third world country facility. Very small and cramped with chairs. The registration is electronic and people made mistakes and it showed up on the roster on an overhead screen. The nurse? would come out and asked who is T7AZ or who is 321? The roster has wait time for each person in minutes so that were nice. The wait were not long. There was about 12 people already in the waiting room but I had to wait only 21 minutes. When my turn to come in, a lady came out and call my name. Someone wrote a review for Quest at this location: " I've never seen a medical staff so nasty to old folks IN MY LIFE. I sat and watched while I waited for my turn. All the employees hate their jobs apparently by the way they treat patients, or they're underpaid. They all seem angry. " and I agreed 100%. So this round and plum lady wears this white dirty wrinkled large anti static looking disposable smock took me in the small room that has two blood drawing stations. The patient chair looks really cheap. The nurse station is on a black two shelves cart with wheels from walmart store for $29.99 each. The lady didn't talk much but did say that I owe quest some money. I ask what was the service and she couldn't tell, but she said that it's went to collection and she wants me to pay. F you stupid idiot for telling people that it went to collection. So she drew my blood and I asked her what blood tests I am getting today and she said " whatever the doctor ordered ". Another stupid idiot answer. I asked again, and added I want to be sure there is no mistake, so she told me I was paranoid. F you again for labeling me. My insurance uses Quest for blood work. I will need to feedback to my insurance that Quest at this location is crappy. Next time I will pay the extra cost of $50 to have my blood drawn at Health first, just a block away and much better services read more

I go to this Quest location quite frequently and go when they first open with no appointment and get right in with no waiting. The staff is generally very friendly and helpful. I had a coding issue once and she got right on the phone and called the doctor's office so that I wouldn't be billed for a test my insurance should cover. I usually don't write reviews but saw the bad reviews people posted. I have never had a problem here. It's not the labs fault if your doctors office didn't send them your prescription for labs. It is the patients responsibility to make sure the doctors office has faxed them over. The way to avoid this is just have your doctor give you a written slip that you take with you. Also they have appointments now and if you make an appointment you go ahead of walk ins. So if your in a hurry make an appointment. They are much much cheaper than Holmes. I've never had a bad stick. Literally a joke of an organization. I was told a 2 minute wait, and waited over an hour and a half. They told me that because of covid they are doing things differently.... just unacceptable! Maybe there are some quest diagnostics out there that are different but of all the ones I've been to lately (including this one) the customer service is deplorable. The flobotomists that work there are friendly enough and seem to be adequately skilled at drawing blood but the office is obviously understaffed and their current staff is very clearly overworked. They've closed their receptionist window and replaced it with a "SELF SERVICE" kiosk. So there is no one monitoring the waiting room, or promptly available for anyone who may have a question or a problem. (Some customer service, HA!) And like the office, calling their phone number is an exercise in futility. All that happens is that you get lost in an endless phone tree with no hope of speaking with a real, live person in that (particular) office or any office for that matter. Of course, I'm sure that Quest will respond "Oh all have to do is go online and use our convenient and helpful website or app". Well get a clue Quest ! Not everyone finds apps/websites helpful, have complete information or convenient or easy and time-efficient to use, (though I suppose unsociable people without social skills and lost in the fantasy worlds on their phones likely would). And reading the story related by the first reviewer for this office now makes me think that Quest staff are woefully undertrained for medical situations that are likely to arise. read more

I went there for a blood test. My fault is that I should have laid down but I chose to sit up while doing the test. That was my mistake. I passed out as soon as the man could not find a vein. They were not at all prepared to handle the situation. There was no smelling salts and nothing sweet for me to drink to pep me up and bring me too. I kept going in and out of passing out episodes asking......begging to lay down somewhere and elevate my legs. They would not or could not let me lay on the floor on my sweatshirt because it's a medical facility andthe room with the table to lay down kept being used so I was just going in out of of it begging for help. This was an emergency. They gave me an ice pack but kept on wrapping it up in paper towels so it was not cold enough to make any difference. Finally my husband and the gentleman that works there helped me to the car but by that time i was throwing up. Also I was still going in and out All of this could have been avoided if they just got smelling salts to bring me out of it, let me have some juice and then let me lay down with my legs elevated. The people there from what I remember were nice but they just had no idea of what it's like to pass out and what to do. I'll be going to another out of network facility next time. **** UPDATE......I went to a different Quest Facility. The one on Wickham Road by Fresh Market. I was on vacation and needed a last minute drug screen for nursing school and came running in right before it closed without an appointment and they were SO nice to me! They let me in and did the test for me in less than 10 minutes and were so kind the entire time! I recommend this place if you want great service! Very grateful and thankful :) read more

I just wet to the Quest laboratory on Hibiscus Blvd. for a blood draw and a urine test. The tech who drew drew my blood was very nice, gentle, and fast. Had no problem with her. However, when I went to the restroom to give my urine sample, it was incredibly disgusting! There were no paper towels, toilet paper, or sanitary wipes that you're supposed to use before collecting the sample. I exited immediately and notified a different employee about the condition of the restroom. She directed me to a different restroom. There were no paper towels or sanitary wipes in that one either, and it was just as filthy! I felt like I was in a 3rd world country! Also, I was instructed to just leave my sample right there in the bathroom in an unsealed cup. What kind of protocol is that? How can that be safe? Nothing is stopping any other patient from coming in and tampering with my sample! This is crazy! I suggest going elsewhere for lab work. read more
