Update on lab corp. Found out the water had been shut off to the whole building for repair. So understandable that cancellations necessary. Lab corp should have given reason intheyrxtmedsage. Also as there are 3 other offices where those whose appt. Were cancelled went to as walk ins staff could have been sent to help those locations but we're not so long waits the 2 people at the Palm Bay location were definitely doing their best to get everyone done. I did not even feel the needle going in. So I will go back there for sure. read more

Been using this location for a few years now never had any issues. The staff have been really good. Check-in is always easy using their kiosk that's in the lobby making appointments on their website is also easier. The phlebotomist always seem to find my vein which I'm happy about when I have to go get blood work done. I will continue to use them at this location. read more

This is the worst lab I have ever been to. Even though I had previously made an appointment, I had to wait over an hour. The lobby was overcrowded with extremely loud and rude people. When I finally was called, they refused to draw my blood without a printed copy of the orders from my doctor. My doctor's office had submitted the test they wanted me to have into their system, but the woman at the desk refused to help. The employees here are rude incompetent and very uncaring. I will never return or suggest this location to anyone. I won star writing as far more than this incompetent and horrible business deserves! read more

Avoid at all costs!!! They only have digital check-in and NO ONE to help when I couldn't complete the process. Their customer service is top notch! I got a bill that seemed high so I called them and asked if they billed both of my insurance policies and they immediately sent a refund and were so nice! I went to LabCorp today and they are beyond professional. I had a 1015 appointment and they took me at 10:14. It went so smoothly and Jonathan who drew my blood is amazing. I didn't even know he had drawn it. I felt absolutely nothing. This is a great place. I will never go anywhere else to get bloodwork. read more

I had a decent amount of blood drawn here (for the first time in years) and I was so pleased with how wonderful the process was. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were so pleasant. When I expressed concerns to the woman taking my blood about fainting, she assured me it would be quick. One quick jab and she was chatting away with me asking me all sorts of questions keeping my attention off my blood being drawn. She even answered my questions about going to the gym afterwards with confidence. I was in and out of my 10 AM appointment within 15 minutes max. Staff is nice and helpful. However their check in system is the most ridiculous bullshit. I didn't have my license on me so I had to enter it manually and apparently my address didn't exist in their system. So it wouldn't let me check in. After going home to retrieve my license it worked fine. I would suggest they find a new less pain in the ass way to check in. read more

Worse experience ever. I got here at 8:47am without an appointment. Then I checked in at the machine at 9. The receptionist told us we have to wait outside until he send us a message. I waited for 35 mins and came in. He's still telling everyone to wait outside. 1 hour and 15 min later I came in and ask him and he said he's been calling me. I told him that I've never received a message and he told me to wait outside. That's ridiculous. A lot of patients here waiting and they said they would never received messages from them. read more

This rating is for 1735 Hibiscus Blvd. in Melbourne Unfortunately this rating is a beyond a - 0, I can't believe that the employees at the front desk of Labcorp treated my family and myself with such disrespect. I'm 69 years of age and was discriminated by the 2 ladies I can only tell you about the face figures due to the fact that they do not utilize their name plates. The one individual complained that I was not prepared with my documents, in our huge age of technology I believe it should've been faxed and put into the system. When I went back to my Doctor's office to get those documents, he told me that he had already faxed them, and they confirmed that they had received it. If their fax was 'broken' at Labcorp for two weeks, which is what they told me, then my Doctor's office would not have received a confirmation. My doctor gave me the date of 2/6/24 at 11:45 am that it was confirmed, so the error was completely on Labcorp end. My Doctor's office also did not understand why Labcorp demanded a physical copy of the documents also. The whole time they were talking down to me being very demeaning and demanded again to have the document with me next time. Which again, I've never needed physical paperwork before. They just couldn't admit they lost the faxed paperwork, or never put it into the system at all. Even asking for a supervisor I was asked why? So I told her I would just like to talk to her, then she said the Supervisor didn't have time for me, and wouldn't give me either of the employees names when I asked for them. Condescending employees, if they don't like they're job, plenty of people would. Perhaps you can implement better people skills and a positive attitude when hiring and training employees that are in customer service. I made an appt online for basic bloodwork. Received several notices and instructions prior to my appt to help make things go more smoothly. When you arrive for the appt, you can text them and wait in your vehicle or go inside and check in quickly using your license. Was called to the window to complete the process after a few minutes, brought into the back and on my way by 10:02 for a 10:00 appt. Everyone was efficient and friendly. Understaffed. Their is too many patients and not near enough staff to get every one threw in a timely manner. Expect to wait all day even if you have an appointment. I thought I would go to LabCorp in FL since I had used them in CO. That was a mistake. First I made an appointment, not familiar with location so I did walk into office and sign in, about 6 people waiting. I read the instructions, said if 15 minutes late you would be treated like a walk in. I was on time 12:30. I waited and asked one of the ladies if they were just awfully busy today. She said ask the desk - Mistake - she was doing an emergency and she was the only one who could do it, and besides they have a right to be 30 minutes later than appointment. Did I read the instructions. When I went in, I was told I had to do a urine spec. I couldn't said I would bring it back. He said I have to take this off your orders. To me that means it won't be done. Fine, if you can't go you can't. No conversation, just did the blood drawn which was fine, then he starts telling me the do the urine and bring it back. Now I am confused, you removed the order, but now we are doing it? He says "I explained to you 3x I will get someone to tell you so you can understand" I took the container, I no time had I told them I would bring it back today it is now 1:30 and I have no desire to be in this office ever again. I will be going back to Quest. at least they are professional, know how to say things professionally (I also happen to be a nurse) and I don't like the insulting way they address patients, they are NOT superior to anyone. read more

I thought it was efficient, a bit less then warm and friendly, but not rude.The Kiosk things like an airline check in always give me pause being older but it worked .The wait was 15 minutes at 9AM.The test did Not hurt and was over in seconds and I had an on Line labcorp account so in two days I had my results online .The test was for more things then my doctor used to do and they found a problem that my doctor did not test for in 10 years ! so I guess that's good. read more

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews, but today I had a great experience here. The office is clean and has free coffee, and the folks at the front desk are welcoming and helpful. The iPads were also a great way to check in without having to bug the front desk. Sent by my future employer for pre-employment drug screen. Arrived at 2:00 and waited in line to sign in behind someone complaining about insurance coverage. Once they called my name at 2:08, they said "We stopped doing drug screens (squints at clock) 10 minutes ago. Didn't you read the sign on the door?" Yes. When I arrived by 2. Every time I stop for flood work it always very slow they only have 2 people working and they have to do everything paper work and get blood test or any test when you are at the front desk when you sign you name !!! And then you sit they call your name and they star asking any question and everyone can hear everything I always tough all this medical stuff it should be private ... The 1-800 service is extraordinary, but has not trickled down to the local office. They never answer the phone and several times it sounded like someone picked up the phone, then "click" and you're disconnected. Once there for the appt they are just as unhelpful and curt. "We don't have the paperwork so we cant do the test". I ask where do i get the paperwork. "From our company" is the answer. No offer to call them or directions. I found their check-in iPads to be modern, convenient and efficient. The staff was sharp and I did not run into an issue administratively, however it did make me uncomfortable when the phlebotomist balanced four large orange vials of my blood on my bicep above the tourniquet that was squeezing my arm while she drew two more small vials. I have always had phlebotomists remove the tourniquet, mid-draw but she left it on for all six vials.. But TBH, that always makes me a little nervous because I'm afraid they will move the needle while it is in the vein. read more

May 2013- Stopped by to see if the 2 orders for test needed anything (one order required 5 vials) place closed for lunch, returned 1 hr. later and staff was far from friendly. They appeared tired, over worked and disinterested. They asked me if Dr. wanted me to fast before blood work (they were too uninterested to look at the order otherwise they would have seen CBC Complete as one of the tests). They told me to call for appointment. Went home called, couldn't get me appointment till 5 days later. The person on the phone assured me that the tests would be ready for my appointment the next week. Just returned from there....desk was friendly but the tech, Marianne, started by pointing (with her back to me) vaguely to two seats along the wall, I sat where she pointed and told her I was left handed, she told me no move closer to her, I got up and moved, then she started complaining to another employee about how expensive apartments were and that "they" (Lab Corp) didn't pay enough to afford one. When she turned her attention on me I told her again that I was left handed. She asked for both arms looked and before any compression she chose my left (It was closer to her). She then stuck me hard enough for me to cry out loudly! She said "Oh, so sorry baby. Are you Okay?" I am in tears at this point. She finishes and then tells me not to carry my purse in my left hand. I remind her that I am left handed. The woman show no compassion or concern for my obvious pain that she had inflicted. I left in a hurry, in pain and very sorry I had my tests done there. I will never return there, I will go out of my way to get tests elsewhere, and I will continue to spread the word of my painful experience at the hands of LabCorp. The test results were not in by the time my appointment day arrived, I had to reschedule another 10 days later with my physician. June 2013- I just returned from another blood test taken at another company ( Harris Family Medical Center) and the tech didn't hesitate to draw from my right arm after I mentioned I'm left handed. She was gentle and I was in and out of the facility quickly and most importantly without pain. read more

I have always scheduled my appointments with LabCorp in advance, so there is no waiting time of more than 10-15 minutes, if that. The ladies at the front desk are always pleasant. I've only heard complaints from patients who did not read the placards on the front desk & walls explaining to "Sign In & Sit Down, You Will Be Called Up to Process", so they didn't sign in, sat for 20-30 minutes, then tried to blame the facilities for the patients own faults. I have NEVER had attitude from the techs, they have a job to do & a short time to do it in. I don't like needles so I found that if you just look away it is less painful, sometimes you don't even feel it. As for being either left or right handed, it goes by which arm has the best veins to draw the blood from. Your own attitude can cause the procedure to be more painful, if you are not relaxed, yes, it will hurt! I look away & do breathing exercises, which help with making the entire process more pleasant. I get tired of only seeing bad reviews when I know there are more people out there who have had good experiences at LabCorp. No, no one LIKES to have blood drawn, just like the techs don't LIKE putting up with whiners as patients. If everyone would read instructions when entering these facilities & act like an adult while having the procedure done, then it will be better for everyone involved. Try having a vein torn by a tech in the ER ending up having my hand squeezed so hard I thought she would break it, ending up with a lump larger than a marble. So, heck yeah I give a Woohoo to the techs at LabCorp. You are professional & appreciated, most definitely great at what you do. read more
