Needles don't bother me, and I can usually watch painlessly as they retrieve the blood. The lady seemed nice enough but in a bit of a hurry. The initial poke to get my vein was fine, but after she started to fill the vials, it started to hurt like hell. Like she was rooter rooting my veins! After that I had to pee in a cup. No wipe was provided; they usually give a wet wipe for you to kind of clean your under carriage area to prevent contamination, but they did not, and I thought that was really weird. I thought I was being a big baby until my husband told me his experience. The girl who took his blood was in a crappy mood and gave him attitude for no reason! She jammed the needle in his arm, and he said it felt like she pierced straight through his vein! She's was a rooter, too! Please, retrain these ladies! It should not hurt like that!

Aubrey could have had her bring the car in and charge hundreds of dollars when it was a simple problem that could be fixed in a minute!! Hard to find all of that in one person, but I really appreciated that he doesn't try to upsell and is a single guy running his own shop. Instead, they charge people by doing exams they know they can't do anything about. Plus, the charts they gave me to give the er stated I broke and dislocated my shoulder so they ER had to do extra xrays trying to find the break that wasn't there. I sat in pain for an extra 3 hours at the Urgent Care (which they caused more pain by moving my shoulder around taking the unneeded x-rays) instead of going to the ER when they knew they couldn't help me. Also, they were extremely slow even though there was no one else there and they knew I was in pain and they couldn't help me.

This is UPMC's guideline, however it isn't the standard which is 28-30 days. My knee was feeling fine, but after being off the antibiotics for a week, the pain was coming back. I returned to this place and was seen by a snotty NP who told me it was just arthritis caused by the weather and refused to do anything. I asked if I could do another round of antibiotics and she said, "no". I asked if I could be retested for Lyme and she said, "no". I'm not a pill popper and this antibiotic is the only pill I've taken in years. I just want the Lyme killed. This place was a total waste of my money and time. They need to update their guidelines and listen to patients.
