This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had at a lab. My appointment was at 10am, checked in, waited in the car and after 26 minutes they texted me saying they were ready. When I come in there is no one in sight to ask a question, 13 minutes later someone walks out and I mentioned I received a text, she said: I called you twice and I responded I never received a call and I was waiting in my car as suggested. She said well I didnt know that and walked away. Its already 50 minutes after my appointment and Im still waiting. What is the whole purpose of even making an appointment for such a long wait? On top of this, Im indoors, with over 10 people in a waiting room, waiting for someone else to come out... this is outrageous!! read more

I just had the worst most horrifying experience of my life with blood work/medical profession- IF in FACT you can even try to call this girl profession. I was taken back on time with my appointment i made a month ago- that was the only good part! When i said hello she refused to answer me and never said hello- just told me to sit- When i told her i prefer my right arm - she insisted on using my left arm which is my "bad" arm- well after 3 sticks - she never found the vein and i started crying begging her to stop! She then got FURIOUS and threw her equipment down in the tray and demanded i move to another room- and that another employee would help me. Mean time i had 3 sticks and was bleeding and she said they had no bandaides to give me- so i was out of luck.I waited and she came back and told me to give a urine sample while i wait - i walked into the bathroom and it was a mess- no toilet paper to be found- no tissues either. When i went back out she told me to "figure it out". !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went back to room #2 and she came back in and said she would do it but i must move to room #3- (mind you she never wiped down any rooms - no mind or care that this was during a pandemic). She then draws blood from my "good" arm and during the entire draw she berated me telling me she has never had such a difficult patient!!!!! Imagine my fear- while she has a needle in me!!!!!! And can someone exactly tell me what i did- maybe it was the hello? Or maybe it was the "one arm that I told her wouldnt be a good arm" maybe it was because i told her there was no toilet paper and the room was a mess?? Also all three rooms had used cotton bloody swabs and used gloves on the floor- one room even had a used needle on the floor. I am shocked because i have used this location many times in the past - i have never seen this employee (who refused to give me her name) maybe she is a fill in - but i tell you- this is bad, very bad- this woman is going to seriously hurt someone- i could feel my blood pressure climbing - i was in such a nervous state i could barely drive- i then went to my Drs appt and told them the entire story- they also made not of this nightmare that still has me upset- . I an only imagine- what if that was my mother- or someone who wouldnt have been able to hold it together- This woman she be removed from this position immediately- she is dangerous, angry and plain old mean. read more

I made an appointment online the day before going and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. If you do the check in online they text you when they are ready for you so you don't have to wait inside. This was in the afternoon. read more

This was the best blood draw I have ever had. Fast and painless. Everyone working there was super nice even though it was a rainy Saturday in February. I didn't have an appointment and when I saw the poor review here I was concerned. I'm glad I chose to decide to see for myself. I signed in and waited less than 10 mins. I would recommend this location, of course it is always better to have an appointment but walk in worked for me just fine. The staff moves at a great pace, not so fast as to rush you, but they don't waste time either. read more

I went to get blood drawn. Made an appointment ahead of time. Keep in mind that this is during a pandemic. The office had upwards of 20 people sitting in the waiting room. There was nowhere to wait that was not practically shoulder to shoulder with someone else. Even after making an appointment ahead of time the wait was estimated to be 40+ minutes. I did not see a single staff member at the front desk the entire time I was there. There was one patient who came in the door and was allowed to walk back into the exam rooms without getting a temperature check as no one was at the desk to stop it. I ended up walking out as I felt so incredibly unsafe because of the nonexistent safety measures during a pandemic. This is a medical office, there should be more safety measures put in place. I walked out and will reschedule at another location. read more

What an awful experience. Before work I decided to make an appointment on a Monday morning. Arrived at my appointment 11 minutes late not being able to find the actual unit. Finally got there and signed in with the system alerting your appointment is now a walk in and the wait time is 200 minutes. Understanding this is part my fault since I was late, even with no indication on the appointment of the unit number to make it easier for customers to find. I left and scheduled another appointment. Arrived at that appointment to only get another message of 160 minute wait. Along with the poor appointment management you must sign in with a computer pad, no live person anywhere to be found. No hand sanitizer or soap around. Eventually found a bottle across the room. If I didn't have to get a test done for work I would never go back. Make every effort to avoid this poorly managed business. read more

I went to the local Chalfont PA Lab twice now. The first visit there is a woman that saw me sitting in the waiting area for 40 minutes and was arrogant about the way I wrote my name on the sign in sheet. She reprimanded me for my writing and proceeded to write and highlight PLEASE PRINT. After that I was told that if I had an appointment I might have been advised earlier. SURE Then she told me the computer system went down and my referral from the Dr. could not be retrieved. REALLY! That was two weeks ago. I returned today with an appointment. Then as I want to sign in, I was informed that without paperwork from the Dr. they cannot assist since the system is down. ARE YOU PEOPLE WORKING WITH A COMMODORE 64? I have a Dr. waiting on my blood work results for specific prescriptions. WTH. read more

Apparently a simple pre-employment drug screen is a complex and difficult task. Who knew that drinking (nonalcoholic beverages) before a piss test to make sure you can give a sample would cause the test to be no good? From what I understand; you need to drink to piss, piss to test, and test to work; but if you drink to test, the test doesn't work. With all the advanced technology available this is where we are at? A home test kit would be better. I can't speak to their other services, blood work or anything like that, but if you need to do a drug screen go somewhere else. read more

Unfortunately I had to visit the Doylestown office recently to simply pick up an item from the office for a sample collection. I walk in and there is no one at the reception desk. And absolutely no one in sight to question or to answer a simple question. After standing there for almost 10 minutes,someone appears from office area and proceeds to walk to the copy machine without so much as even bothering to glance in my direction. Now I'm starting to get hot. After another 5 minutes of wasting my time, I see an employee walking behind the desk and I immediately confronted her. She could immediately tell by my tone that I wanted assistance right now! She gave me the collection container that I needed and I was able to finally get out of there. Really terrible customer service and this is not the first time that they have provided very poor service. I don't really want to give them even one star. I'd like to give them a 1/2 star. They are probably understaffed and really should consider making the necessary changes to improve I recently visited the Buckingham office and the service there was excellent. I was promptly greeted and was in and out of the office within about 20 minutes. They did a wonderful job and I was thoroughly impressed with the Buckingham operation. Not sure if any changes have been made to the Doylestown location. read more

Please do not go to any Quest location without an appointment. I went today for a routine urinalysis which took all of 5 minutes and waited for an hour and ten minutes to be seen. That is after I went to the front desk and complained. I was there approximately eight thirty and got back into my car at TEN o'clock. Everyone that was in the waiting room when I came in was long gone. Quest, please hire more help. Every Quest I've ever been to is grossly understaffed. This is also the sentiment of your employees. I do have to say though, that the women who work here were very professional and polite. read more

The service is appalling. The person at the receptionist's desk is condescending and gives a person a scowl if they ask a question or ask for clarification. Then they sarcastically say "Have a nice day." And that is the only time you will see them smile. Even if you are just dropping off a specimen, they keep you waiting needlessly. This has happened on more than one occasion. I would strongly recommend the company do an "Undercover Boss" or do an undercover customer. Would they be surprised. I plan on looking elsewhere for alternative services. read more
