This is another reason I want to talk to someone instead of waiting days back and forth 48 hours I am told to wait for replies. You obviously have more patients than you can handle. that or you could care less.

This will be my last visit to this location…read more I have a sinus infection. Had them before. Sometimes I get one in the Spring. Know exactly what's going on. Know what the effective treatment has been every time. I haven't been sick long enough with it apparently. As I've had a sinus infection 3 years ago, they asked if I'd seen an ENT. Waste of half a day off work. Had poison ivy. Had it before. Knew exactly what's was going on. Knew when, where and how I got it. When poison ivy starts sprouting, I will come in contact with it because I don't see it. Argued with me as to what it was and didn't want to treat it. I had to demand the effective treatment of steroids and cream. Had an ear ache. Knew what my symptoms were. It was Summer. Had been to the beach. 3 trips to this location for three different incorrect and unsuccessful diagnoses. They went as far as to tell me I had a fungal ear infection and I needed an ENT. Nope. Went to my GP and they removed wax buildup I had pushed deep by accident. Instantly better. Listening to the patient and treating them the first time is all I'm looking for. This location demonstrates they cannot do that. Not steering me to an ENT 5 weeks in the future. I have had multiple visits that resulted in incorrect or unreliable treatment. All the ailments were run of the mill, seasonal situations, with easy, common remedies. This ain't an episode of HOUSE. Edit: they did finally give me a script for antibiotics, so the visit wasn't a whole washout. One star added back.

My physician was very knowledgeable about my condition and she subscribed me a bunch of stuff to take care of my pain and condition. I truly recommend Piedmont. But today, I took my daughter there for an appointment to the East Cobb office to discuss an endoscopy. I I found that both her MA, Keisha and Jarre who came in at the end to check us out (not sure what her title is or if I'm spelling it correctly, she said she was going to give me her card but didn't - no surprise) were unprofessional, rude and uncaring. Keisha was not rude but just uncaring. She asked my daughter about her symptoms and as my daughter was explaining them, she literally got up and said ok well Dr. Harkins will be in shortly. Why even ask if you're not going to listen or write it down. As she walked out, my daughter and I just looked at each other in disbelief, it was so obvious she could care less. But Jarre really made me angry. Dr. Harkins was supposed to write down some natural remedies for my daughter's condition and she forgot. And we are all human and forget things but I asked Jarre if she would please go ask her and she just flat out refused. I insisted as I had paid my $200 self pay rate and made my appointment. She flat out refused to do it because Dr. Harkins was with another patient by then which I get but I paid for my appointment as well. She said coldly and rudely that they would call later today with the information. It is now 4:30 and no call. I suspect there will not be a call. I find that kind of service - NO SERVICE - needs to be called out. Jarre and Keisha should both be trained better to deal with patients or they should be FIRED. Oh and by the way, Jarre should also leave her bedroom slippers at home and wear some professional shoes to work. We are doing an endoscopy later this month and I will mention this to Dr. Harkins. I am curious as to what her response will be because it will determine if I go back there in the future. I really like her so I hope she agrees that patients shouldn't be treated this way. I understand it's not her fault as she probably doesn't even hire these people but at least she can pass it on to whoever does do the hiring. I will update this after we've been in for the endoscopy.

Not only did she stand beside me until i transitioned to my new PCP, she stayed dedicated to my care with the same compassion, respect and kindness to all of her patients. Dr. Rooks guaranteed my prescriptions were refilled, as requested by my local pharmacy. Her staff were on top of my records release request and her nurse Angela would call to let me know. I could check the pharmacy's app on my phone to verify the prescription was going through. Everyone at Tanner Primary Care made the transition as seamless as it could be, knowing I had lost my faith in the healthcare system. They are one of four physicians I trust to attempt to put their patients care first. I respect their commitment and courage. Everyone has the compassion to be able to assist and advocate for their patients. I will miss Dr Rooks. See and the physician who she took my care over from will always be missed.

Got prescribed 10 days worth of antibiotics which didn't…read morework and I called them back on the 3rd to re up the antibiotics and they told me they wouldn't help me I had to come in and pay another fee for the same thing even though I wasn't taken care of. Absolutely horrible quality of care. Don't waste your time or money coming here. Even for something as simple as antibiotics for strep. They aren't here for healthcare they are here to take your money. Period. My tonsils are swollen and they shouldn't be after the treatment I paid for. Or at least they should be taking another look without charging me. They said it has to be within 7days but they gave me 10 days of antibiotics. WTF
