Quest Diagnostics - Check In Machine is Broken - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Scheduled an appointment online, I get to the testing location and they have no record of my appointment. I left.

The staff was so friendly and compassionate, particularly the lady who was checking customers in. Their check in kiosk wasn't working (only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars), but she worked so hard to overcome that obstacle and deliver an EFFICIENT visit. I was in and out within 10 mins, and that includes the time waiting to be seen. read more

Had a vehicle wreck in front of my wife & I on the way down. Diverted to back roads. Totally out of our control. Major delay, but got into the area in time where we could have made it within 10 minutes of our visit. The GPS literally says you've arrived at your destination in the middle of the road. Doesn't say left or right. No indication of where to turn. Had to drive around the block several times until we were able to find a building #. Tried to call and explain what had happened and tell them we were trying to find their building (before we found it). Absolutely no way to contact a human. Everything is for the convenience of Quest & not the patient. Upon entering, you are greeted by nothing but an automated kiosk. One second over their 10 min window & it's like you never had the appointment. The appt was made through a corporate system that we had no access to, forcing us to scan our licenses and insurance card into some system with no idea where it goes or security provided. The place was very quiet, with no foot traffic & only one person waiting. After a 40 min drive there should be some way to speak with a human. In most cases, an easy accommodation can be made or you can be worked in, based on extreme, uncontrollable circumstances. The process is impersonal, lacks accomodation for the patient & lacks and demonstration of care for patient relations. A cold and mechanical company with all convenience made for the company & not the client. --- By the experience, I can bet the response will be similar, "we are sorry to hear you didn't make your appointment. Quest strives to provide quality & timely service. Due to volume and number of staff we are unable to accommodate for late appointments." --- Whether it's true or not. Every instance isn't a rubber stamp. read more

I had a scheduled appointment at 10:20. Despite signing in on the kiosk, no one came to the open window. Only one patient was called back for bloodwork in the 50 minutes I sat in the waiting room. Place is slow, unprofessional. The phone number for the location hangs up on you without providing any real options for assistance. read more

Staff members were cordial, courteous, and patient. They were about 5-10 minutes late taking me back for my appointment. However, once I got back there, they immediately put me at ease as they proceeded with the testing. The office was not difficult to locate as I was familiar with the building. Parking is available in the garage and you don't have to go outside to enter the building. I exited the elevators one level down and bam, there they were on the right. BTW, there is a little store/coffee shop across from Quest in case you need a snack right after your fasting appointment. read more

Good luck finding this place. If you go to the quest diagnostics website and this is the closest location, pick another one. Your GPS will take you to unlabeled buildings, you park in a deck and wander around until you can find someone to ask where building 1918 is. If you are lucky, you will find someone who knows. Then you get to the building and this place isn't even labeled quest diagnostics except in fine print where you sign in. The big sign says Solstas Lab Partners. Then once you are done good luck finding your car again. Oh if you come here anyway, pencil in at least an additional 15 min before your appointment time to figure out where to park and then actually find this place. Regarding appointment time, we had an appointment for 10:15, were signed in by 10:17 and they called us at 10:33. Update: I am lowering my review to 1 star from 2 stars. They called us a few days after the appointment and said they didn't take enough blood for the tests that were ordered and we need to come back in!!! And they took 10 vials!!! read more

it took there billing office almost 3 days to post a payment they got on march eight it was sent by electroins payment by my bank they call me that afternoon on march eight at 5 oclock and left a message on my voice mail wanted there payment I had sent them an email and told them they got it already got the payment for 20*00 dollars that have hard up they are for there 20.00 dollars read more
