I was recently there and Ms. Jasmine provided my service and it was excellent. The front desk was very nice as well and explained the paper work and the check-in kiosk was easy to use. Sometimes when people are sick they forget that there are others sick as well. Labcorps has policies like every other business. Don't be upset with them when they have to follow their company rules. It's their job to loose for doing something wrong not yours. Be kind and thoughtful and you will find they will reciplicate in turn. Shout out to the team there! I've not had coffee or caffeine and I'm just standing here outside with the 9 other hungry souls and one who has been holding her urine all morning. I understand life happens but this is ridiculous.

Have been using this lab service for nearly a year. You cannot get your results from a location…read moredifferent than the one they were taken, as their computer systems are not compatible. The location at Piedmont Hospital never understands how to take blood, spin it down and give back serum. My last set of labs reported incorrect results prompting an emergency room request. A repeat test showed the first labs were incorrect. There's gotta be a better choice in Athens!

Visited the Athens location today 01/09/2020, I was 30 mins early to see the doctor was told I…read morewould have to wait because two people were in front of me who did not arrive yet. I was then asked to sit in the back. A patient standing behind me in the line approach the desk and mentioned he was an hour early for his appointment, he was sent right in to see the physician. I did not understand because not only was I there before him I also was 30 mins early but still had to sit and wait. I can't help to think that had something to do with the color of my skin.

I see the Nurse Practitioner here, her name is Katie. I started going to her for my yearly gyno…read moreexams after my old doctor retired. Katie is really wonderful. I have been through multiple different gynos and NP's over the years, but she gives the quickest and least uncomfortable paps I've ever had. On top of that she is very approachable and she doesn't give you that common doctor's office feeling that you aren't being heard when you talk with her. She also helped me get on antidepressants. I've needed antidepressants for years but never looked into getting them until I saw a psychologist soon before my visit to Katie, where it was suggested that I take them. I was told that getting an appointment to see a psychiatrist to get antidepressants can take months and is usually prohibitively expensive. So, thank god for professional and understanding people like my Nurse Practitioner. I can't sing her praises enough. :) As to the poor review of the waiting room experience, I have to include that I've had the opposite experience, twice now. I only waited about ten minutes each time and all was copacetic, even with a full waiting room.

Never received a reminder text or call this appointment was booked Months ago how was I suppose to know that. Not only that when asked if she could see if they will still see me she rolled her eyes and said NO your late. Very unprofessional why not schedule the person at 10:00 vs 10:30 and state come 30 mins early to sign papers. I will take my BCBS somewhere else. Overall rating a 0 DONT GO TO THIS PLACE..
