When we arrived at Contigo shortly after they opened on a recent Saturday, the place was pretty…read moremuch empty. But by the time we left, the joint was hopping. I can see why. We decided to start with the Fries Supreme, which have obviously been modeled after Taco Bell's iconic dish. And yeah, they definitely reminded me of that concoction. The fries could've been fresher and hotter but otherwise I quite enjoyed this messy plate. For the main, I went with a couple of tacos: the Chorizo and the Pulled Pork. The latter I found especially enjoyable, as the sauce the pork had been cooked in was delicious. (It was large chunks of pork, though, so I'm not quite sure it qualifies as pulled pork.) The many hot sauces available, plus the two sauces brought with the tacos, really elevated the whole thing, but I really enjoyed the creamy, cilantro-forward sauce included on the plate. Contigo is a cool little place. I'm sure I'll be returning.

The ambiance is nice there's music and the seating arrangement is well balanced for small groups larger groups and bar seating as well. The food was beyond delicious. I was satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. The enfrijoladas was a great dish super filling and the flavours were well balanced the hot sauce was a nice addition very flavourful but a nice kick of spice. The Flautas were a bit crispy in my opinion I would as for them a little less well done next time but it was still very good I'd recommend getting a side of refied beans to dip with it. We got a side of grilled jalapeños and they were soo good a nice flavour profile not to spicy. I would definitely be back 9/10

We were the only table there, and then another table came and sat inside with two gentlemen that seemed to be getting regular service, but not us. My husband ordered water twice. She went away for about 10 or 15 minutes and then came back and there was still no bill. Margaritas were small and we're not tasty at all and not very strong. Spent $60 and left a four dollar tip which was more than they deserved. Will not be back.

On cinqo de mayo, they also have their annual $5 chorizo burritos and $1 jarrito soda drinks (get the mango flavour!) which is a great deal! While I'm not a big fan of the process of ordering 'customized for you' ingredients/toppings, I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh tasty ingredients - which made up for my apprehension. I had the soft tacos - yum! My husband and daughter were going to have the Steak Burrito - but there wasn't any Steak and the order was changed to Ground Beef (hence 4 Stars, but tasty all the same). The Guacamole, while 'extra' ($) was also very good. Don't skimp on this item because of the price. While the Staff were obviously busy (good sign right!) they took things in stride and were very professional and pleasant all the same. The fellow - who I took to be the Owner/ Mgr. put up with all my dumb food questions and was very pleasant, despite the business of the restaurant. There are a few seats where you can sit and eat, but this place is definitely an 'order and go' type of business. We are definitely going back.
