I've had no complaints about any of the services we have received at 10,000 wags. Wally knows as soon as I open the car door that he is headed for a day of fun I like in the summer heat that the pools are out and the dogs get to cool off and splash and play together. Be sure to call early because they are busy because they have such fine services. I really like the fact the employees know me and they know my dog Wally I will continue to use their day care services, their grooming services, and board him there when necessary. I feel completely comfortable and happy leaving Wally for a day of fun or an overnight stay I know he will be taking care of and he will be just fine.

I look forward to bringing Sam to 10,000 Wags the next time I'm in Taos.

But Chile, adopted at 6 months old, was none of those things, due to her isolation from everything until then. Enter Jane Gerard, who has studied the science of animal behavior for many years. Jane has moved Chile form a muzzle wearing, terrified pup to a wonderful companion, a very happy dog that has traveled so far with reinforcement based training. That said, she has changed my relationship with my dog, too. Because I now understand what drives her behavior, I have learned how to address it positively. It brings both of us much joy. Her muzzle hangs in a closet now. We work at Chile's pace and I love every minute of watching her progress and mine, as well. I am not my dog's master or boss - we're partners who trust each other and know each other. Thank you, Jane!

I do not use a shock collar on her. When I asked the woman at pickup, if it had worked, she responded, "Obviously not". It would have been professional of them to contact me and ask if the barking is her natural behavior, at which time I would have said no and had a discussion as to a better solution. I will never use their services again.

Irina of Pet Angel of Santa Fe is absolutely exceptional in every way that matters…read more I just hired Irina for the first time ( 4/25 - 4/28/2025) to take care of my post-surgery, one year old male cat for 4 days, at her home. He had had a very delicate operation to repair a tricky break in the tibia bone of his back right leg. They had installed a metal brace and screws and wire. Very expensive and extremely important to contain the cat so he would not harm the leg while it is healing. I had an out of state family funeral to attend and was in a panic. I googled something like post-surgery in home care in Santa Fe. Her website plus one other Pet Hospital came up. I reviewed her website, noticed how well it was designed with attention to detail (very important) and that she was licensed via the city of Santa Fe for animal care. I never even felt the need to review the other website. My cat, named Kitty, needed 24/7 care and someone with experience handling medications and delicate post-surgery care. I emailed her of my upcoming needs, as it was late on a Sunday and I needed to leave in 4 or 5 days. We spoke the next day and went over all my concerns. As we spoke it was so obvious that she was very experienced in the post-surgery needs of an animal. Additionally, she demonstrated a deep understanding of relating to the cats and dogs she takes care of. If you want to just have Irina go to your home and feed and water and clean up after your pets while you are away that is of course possible also. Irina sent me wonderful photos and reports everyday of Kitty. I felt completely confident that Kitty got excellent care and attention...complete with a heated rug his first day there to comfort him as he adjusted to this new environment. I could go on and on but don't want to make this any longer. In short, all pet owners in Santa Fe, are lucky to have Irina the Pet Angel of Santa Fe as an option for animal care when the need arises. Thanks, Irina for your love and devotion to my Kitty and all cats and dogs. Mary BB
