Friendly staff. Course in good shape. Golf carts clean. Wish they had hole graphics, ball washers and a beverage cart more often.

As soon as my group walked into the pro-shop, we were scoffed at. The guy behind the desk (older guy, a younger one showed up later who was much nicer) yelled at us that there were temporary greens. I'm serious, this wasn't a simple spoken instruction, it was a command loudly given that must've come from a place of insecurity. We were on a bachelor party trip (everyone was well-behaved and sober, it was 8:45 a.m), so one of our group requested that the six of us play together. The man in the pro shop replied in utter disbelief that we even asked the question that we could not do that because it was "against the rules." Normally we wouldn't have asked, but there was basically no one playing this day, so what could it hurt? He proceeded to get very angry when asked why we couldn't play in a six-some, and again yelled "It's the rules!" I'm all for rules when there's a reason behind them, alas, he could not give us one. To add to that, the greens fees were discounted 40% because of the temporary greens. I checked out first and was charged the correct price. My buddy checked out immediately afterward as he was next in line, and was charged full price. Now this was the same buddy that asked about us all playing together, so I can only infer that the worker needed some sort of retaliation. My friend got his refund, and the rest were charged accordingly. We met a worker on the first tee box who was very kind. We told him our troubles and he said that was a normal occurrence. Because we were on a bachelor trip, he said that we could play together if we broke up on the holes visible from the tee shop so Mr. Insecurity couldn't see us. We were excited for the newfound levity and started our round. About 6 holes thru, another worker pulled up and said that we could not actually play as a group of six because it was AGAINST THE RULES, so we divided our party into two groups. To add onto this, there were temporary greens because of the massive rainfall that occurred recently. We understood this, but we could not understand that ALL OF THE SPRINKLERS were running the entire time we played, further adding to the muddy bayou that we played in. On several holes we were even hit by the running sprinklers. Normally I wouldn't complain about sprinklers, but I just cannot understand why they were still running and why they were making holes more difficult to maneuver. Needless to say, I will not be back. Aside from the previous few men that were kind, the experience was awful. I don't care what age a person is, they should be treated with respect as paying customers. We are all in our 20's, and it felt as though we were being treated as trespassing vagrants. The guy at the pro-shop sure seemed to be bosom-buddies with the older man that entered before us, but we were not treated with the same amiability. I don't care how cheap it is, skip out on Querbes. To the guys that were actually cordial... I'd find somewhere else to work if I were you. And to the guy who works behind the pro shop desk, get some professional help. No need to be a dismissive jerk. read more

This place is a complete disaster. The pathetic excuse for a man behind the pro shop desk seemed to have made it his personal mission to ruin our day. I've never encountered such an obnoxious, unprofessional loser at any golf course. The course marshal wasn't quite as insufferable as the pro shop loser, but he was still an absolute jerk whenever he could be. The course itself was a joke, but the customer service somehow managed to be a hundred times worse. My advice? Avoid this dump at all costs. You'd have a better time slamming a scooter into your shins all day. The morons working here completely ruined our day and our trip to Shreveport. read more

The staff are very unprofessional and extremely rude. Their shit doesn't stink at Querbes golf course. I was very disappointed with the course as well, but what upset me most was the sprinklers were left on during my entire round of 18 where my cart and I were repeatedly soaked in water. Lastly, I was even more upset that the pro shop employee sent another employee to harass and stalk my group as we followed their rules to get through 18. I will not be back and recommend other golfers in the area to Jerry brooks golf course located in Shreveport. read more

I was here for the restaurant only, so I can't speak to the quality of the course, though it seemed nice. They make a mean egg and sausage biscuit. The acoustics of the restaurant are a little echo-y. Nice waitress! read more

Played Querbes for the first time yesterday, 22 May I arrived around 0830 and opted to hit some range balls before walking 9 holes. The price was very reasonable, and even more so when I saw the quality of the playing surface. The range was nice, standard range that had turf to hit off of instead of grass. The course itself was in great shape for a cheaper public course. Fairways were manicured nicely, greens had minimal patches of dead grass, and even the rough was in good shape. The course is pretty easy to play with almost no water, forgiving fairways and reasonably distances holes. I will definitely be back. read more

Small course but still had fun. Not too challenging as it's pretty flat with minimal obstacles (other than the houses and backyards you may hit your ball into) but what more can you ask for at a public course. A few staff members at the pro shop came off rude and impatient. The bartender was amazing in every way and she's the reason I'd give this place that extra star. read more

Ate a hamburger there the other day it did not taste right it was bland and did not taste like meat I don't know what it was but it tasted like Walmarts high top cheap hamburger or ostrich meat or something like that I believe they are deceiving people in the price that they're paying for food but they're not getting the quality note that I do not want to put a negative response but I'm being led to believe that they are purposely given people crappy low price to me in selling it at high price value something needs to be done about this and I really don't want to be the one to post it read more
