They are open until 11:30pm Friday and Saturday nights and 10:30pm all other nights. My husband loves the Lychee black tea with coconut jelly. It's nice and sweet, but doesn't leave you feeling too full or sickly like the milk teas tend to. What's special about Tea ETC is they let you pick your tea, pick the temperature and pick your sweetness. I'm not sure if people like to drink their tea hot, but you can request ice to make it super cold. They serve it without ice otherwise. But I think the ability to pick your sweetness is great! I'm weening myself off sugar in other areas of my life, so to be able to ask for my Bubble tea with only half or quarter sugar is fantastic.

Sunnybank is one of those hubs that serves most, if not all, the Asian cuisine you are after. One…read moreof my favourite Asian sweet things to treat myself to are Bubble Tea or Pearl Tea. To my knowledge I have tried almost all of the bubble tea bars in the Sunnybank area (I am such a fan!). I consider myself, quite the bubble tea connoisseur now. I've been back to Tea Etc a few times to order as many different flavours as possible to 'test' it out. I have found that some bubble tea tastes good here, but then also some bubble tea they make don't taste as good as their fellow neighbour Tea bars. For example classic flavoured Bubble Tea like their Milk Tea, tastes yummy and sweet, but then the Taro Milk Tea is passable. Not as delicious as other places I've been to, it's a bit too watered down for my liking. On the few occasions where my favourite go-to bubble tea places are closed and I can't resist a tasty drink, I come here to give it another go- but now, I know which drinks to avoid. An advantage Tea Etc has over some of its neighbours is it is open for an extra hour and a half. While others have closed up shop at 9pm, this place still has one hours and half of service left. This is important to me because, I usually start dinner with friends at around 8pm and often get carried away and forget to order bubble from my favourite place (which closes at 9pm). So when this does happen and if often does on disorganised nights, I wander on over to Tea Etc to have their Milk Tea.... Luckily, they never ruin this classic flavour.

This isn't just another bubble tea shop, it's not even another ChaTime... It's much better!…read more They serve the same drinks they have over at their Sunnybank location and just as good. They also give you the same stickers for frequent customers (Buy 10 get 1 free), just ask for it. The only frustrating part with Sakuraya is the size of the cup. It just doesn't fit in the car cup holder. So either finish it before leaving or drink it when you reach your final destination otherwise you may have to deal with picking up boba from your car floor.

The Eight Mile Plain Sakuraya is exclusively a dessert/ drinks bar and a popular one at that. Even though it only opened last year, this shop has a faithful following lounging around in the indoor/ outdoor dining area, sipping drinks, munching on those glutinous Japanese rice balls and just people watching in general. They do the usual assortment of pearl milk teas and fruity green/black teas. When I went last weekend, I wanted to try something a little different so the waitress recommended a Winter Melon Yoghurt drink. This was perfect for the hot weather but I would only recommend it if you enjoy drinks with a distinct sour sweetness such as Yakult. They also stock a range of gelati that I've never heard of called Norgen Vaaz though I'm willing to give it a go if it is as tasty as their drinks range.
