Queens Square is a Car Park located in Liverpool city centre, operated by Q-Park. This Car Park is interesting due to its' size not just in parking areas but others too including the lobby. The lobby has a manned desk, toilets, machines and it is quite bright too, so around the car park it feels a little vibrant and more modern so that's nice.
The parking prices are a tad expensive, which sadly you've got to expect in a city centre. The parking here however is cheaper than parking nearby in the Liverpool One shopping centre.

As you can see the price to park works out around £2 per hour, and of course this is made slightly cheaper by Q-Park loyalty scheme, where you can your ticket on the app and then you can use that to get a few discounts (nothing too impressive sadly) and money off your parking, basically making it free every 6 visits which is a pretty cool scheme.
It also works out so much cheaper if you prebook, you could get between 9am and 6pm for £11 which basically gives you an extra hour for free as this is also charged for 8 hours on the day. Prebooking doesn't seem to have any significant savings however.
One thing which really upset me about this Q-Park is what it is built for - Parking. I couldn't get in the car park as there was a large amount of cars queuing who couldn't get in, mainly down to the machine constantly beeping and not letting anyone in, after about 5 minutes a staff member came to fix it, only for it to be my turn and for the issue to happen again while the staff member just left which was annoying.
This car park is okay, it is quite nice and has some cool features about it, but it is a car park, that's what it is, that's it's Raison D'etre, and they really do need to focus on the things associated with a car park first before improving other things, such as the amount of spaces and room to park, and even getting in the car park without loads of time and stress, sadly mainly down to the last issue discussed of the machine error and getting into the car park, I feel Q-Park at Queens Square deserves nothing over a mid to high two star rating. read more
