This is a very poor excuse for a business class lounge. We had about an hour before our flight back…read moreto the US so decided to hang out in here. After checking in the first things we noticed was that it was very warm inside with no air conditioning and that it was absolutely packed full. We managed to find two seats close to each but not together. I went over to check out the food and beverage offerings which were almost laughable. The liquor consisted of one scotch and two gins, thats it. There were three bottles of red wine but they were all the same. Inside the cooler was Peroni (the only beer offered), white wine, an open bottle of champagne, mixers and bottled water. The weird thing about all of them besides the beer is that they are "common use". You take what you want and just put the rest back. There were no small sized waters so people were just taking a liter bottle with them. The food was just bread, meats and cheeses that did not look appetizing at all. It was just too crowded and warm to stay down there so we left and went back upstairs to the nice open and cool terminal that had plenty of seating, shops and restaurants. There is no reason to come to this lounge.

Not my favorite airport lounge. It is definitely outdated compared to other airport lounges. Access…read moreto the lounge is free for American Express priority pass holders so I can not complain much as it has free wifi, decently comfortable leather seats, a bar and food available. Got to the airport early and was able to kill time here. Arrived at the lounge at noon to find it very empty. Only 4 other people in the lounge and this place is actually pretty big!!! Just weirdly set up! Definitely needs some updating! Wifi connection was great, Pinot Grigio at the bar was a plus however the food/snacks was a little disappointing. Seemed like everything was sitting out for a while. The pastries and bread were quite stale, the lettuce was wilted and brown and the antipasto was difficult to chew. There were only 2 bathroom stalls (each gender) for such a big place. Luckily it was not busy when we went, I could imagine a long line forming if we were there during peak hours! Yikes!

Quite possibly the worst upper class lounge I have had the pleasure of visiting…read more Bottled water - as much as you like. Food? Get in line to walk past some sad cafeteria style plastic covered plates to place an order for some thing that resembles food on those plates. Oh, you think this is made to order? Absolutely not. "American breakfast". - cold and I mean straight out of fridge scrambled style egg with some spinach and cold mushrooms. Something that resembles bacon, but again questionable. Extremely disappointed. Sorry but when traveling upper class, the fee of the ticket covers an amenity of a lounge with small plates (or large), some kind of snack and lots of drinks that should be poured endlessly. The poor guy behind this counter was charged with serving both coffee / espresso drinks, juice, milk and booze. This is definitely not "happy hour". This lounge services the Star Alliance group out of Terminal 1 which I believe in this terminal comprises Lufthansa, Austrian, and SwissAir

I spent a few hours here at the newly renovated Star Alliance Lounge by D5. It's nice. The…read morebreakfast was decent and the lunch was filled with salad, meats, cheese, toasted bread, freshly made pizza and Italian soup. I liked the variety. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and bacon along with prosciutto. They make very strong coffee behind the bar. I think this was a terrible lounge before the renovation. Now all fixed up and it's very neat to see that the review has not reflected the update. I would rate this higher than most of the lounges I've been too, considering how new and less crowded it is. At lunch time families start to show up with little kids and it does get very crowded and noisy. As a business traveler with two teenage kids, I understand the concept of raising children, but now that I'm older and have kids who are quiet as mouse, I can't stand the noise as it's difficult to work. That's the only complaint about this lounge. They should have a quiet area and one for work area. But then again, not everyone can get into Polaris lounge where it does not allow family unless you all travel in business class, which we did.
