I would not recommend this nail salon. First impression is that it is not sanitary and needs to be closed. I was recommended to this nail salon because I was just a walk in and the other nail locations had a wait. This should have been a red flag for me. I walk in there was a woman and a man in the front and several other individuals in the back. I had a broke nail and I asked the nail technician to fix it by putting a tip and I wanted a stiletto shape. She made my nail bleed by stabbing my nail because she was trying to take the gel off. She gave me cotton wipe or ball and alcohol because my nail begin to bleed. Then she painted my natural nail at first without the nail tip. Then she took the nail polish off and gave me a stiletto . I asked her on several occasions if she knew how to shape a stiletto nail and she got frustrated and said I will call my manager so he can come and fix it. I said where is your manager and she said not here. He is on his way. I told her I had to go and she said you can go and you don't have to pay. She got very frustrated with me and I told her I need my nail fix and I will pay and I just won't come back. I paid and left and called the manager. He apologized and said that she didn't understand what I wanted but you can come and I can fix it. Thanks manager but no thanks!! Don't hire people that haven't been train properly. She understood and tried to follow through with each request but couldn't satisfy the customer because of lack of skill! read more

I had my nails done on Saturday and the paint peeled off of Sunday. I paid $168.00 for me and my granddaughter to have our nails done and to have the paint peel off in less than 24 hours is unacceptable. read more

Yelp is deceptive cause this place has over 12 one star reviews. This place was close to the entrance from the road and Target. These are the only 2 reasons I chose to patronize. I should have walked out as soon as I walked in but I convinced myself the service may not be a reflection of the state of the facility. Magazines in disarray, material on chairs peeling, polish center looked like the polish had many many birthdays and the equipment def seen better days. The towel the tech brought out was stained and tattered and the sanitation of the tools was questionable. The nail file was used on many others before me. I got an extremely basic manicure ($20) on Sunday, polish chipped and peeled the next day and did not hold well. Today is Tuesday and I have removed the rest of the polish. If you want a better service, do NOT come here. There's a much better looking shop that provides quality service near Bath and Body Works in the same shopping center. I basically spent $25 to have someone paint my nails cause I didn't want to offend by doing an about-face. Lesson learned! read more

I took my 91 year old mother for a pedicure. A gentleman did her pedicure. I took her shoes on and off. He did not have to massage her legs and did not use warm towels at alL. (Mom does not like massage so we requested no massage). He never spoke to her at all. Very disrespectful. He charged her 30 dollars not 25 as stated on website. That pedicure WAS NOT WORTH thirty dollars. I really wish she had not insisted on a five dollar tip!!! He did not deserve a tip. She has never paid that much for a pedicure at this business. The only COVID safety they are doing is mask requirements. They don't wear gloves and touching multiple customers at same time instead of one on one. You tell them one service and they do their own thing and overcharge you. read more

I went to get my eyebrows done here before and the turned out alright. I went a 2nd time and they were AWFUL!!!!!! She waxed one eyebrow sooooooooo short compared to the other one, then my friend with thicker eyebrows got hers done too and she made hers so thin!!! Our first time visit at Queen. Me for pedicure, Wife for manicure. Our Anniversary treat. We chose Queen based on Yelp reviews Many other salons in Anniston/Oxford area but reviews were good and location was convenient. We were both pleased and will return. Wife loves her nails so far, and I loved my pedicure. Girl did a terrific job. I can only afford it couple times a year so it needs to be good and regarded as a treat. This place is really great. It was my first time here and I had almost no wait. I got a gel manicure for the first time and my nail tech was very helpful about informing me about the process and helping me pick a color. And I was super surprised by how quick it was! My only issue was more of a communication one when I was asked what I was getting and answered gel manicure thinking there was only the one kind so I was charged for a gel manicure when I really had only wanted a gel polish. Not a huge issue( about a 10.00 difference) but something to communicate better in the future on both our parts. Will definitely be back! read more

This place is awesome! I stopped here on the way to Gadsden for the Thanksgiving holiday. I just needed a gel manicure and they got me in and out. I didn't have one complaint about anything from the quality of the service to the hospitality. It was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back anytime that I'm in the area. read more

I've been in this shop before several times. Had a few good experiences and a few bad but today took the cake for me. After dropping a $140 for my daughter and I to have polish and pedicures. I left with the worst nails ever. I tried the powder polish today and it's horrible. The pics are AFTER they "fixed" my nails and the posts are of the owner of the shop coming at me for my 1star review. I stayed calm until after he called me a horrible person. I had a black lady do my nails she was new never saw her before. She was awful. She nicked the side of my finger, and left the under finger nails in bad shape where she had cut and filed them. I asked for them to be shorter but she didn't cut them as short as I wanted. I will not be letting her do my nails again. read more
