I wouldn't have done it without Ralph!…read more In Aug '25, I asked Ralph to support me on a complete renovation and remodelling of my small harbour-front apartment in Lymington. We worked closely together to design a new internal layout which included relocating most of the walls, the staircase, changing the use of many rooms, new M&E, and much more....all with the intent of making the best of the extraordinary harbour views from its three balconies. At just 75 sqm floor area, we treated it like designing a new interior of a yacht because we needed to make the best use of every small space. Ralph's experience and skill shone through; he was thoughtful, proactive, communicative and creative. He introduced me to a building contractor and helped put together the entire project team. And finding a team is not easy these days! Ralph was hugely tenacious in successfully finding a specialist staircase design and manufacturing firm to create and install the centrepiece of our property. Let's be honest....all these projects cost more than we expected, take longer than we hoped and involve rather more stress than..... .....but I could not, and would not, have embarked on this project without Ralph at my side throughout. He had a calm, pragmatic and supportive influence. We had an ambitious challenge to complete the entire project within 6 months (Jan-Jun) to avoid missing the summer season.
