I can honestly say that from the moment I arrived, met Dr Hoff and had a check up and saw the hygienist, I was very comforted with their high level of skill, their approach was gentle, I was always well informed of what they were doing and their remarks on maintaining optimum dental health, I was so pleased. On top of that, I really appreciate Dr Hoff's approach to dental care which is the right fix not a quick fix, and minimally so. I've seen dentists which suggest you spend loads of money just capping everything and doing this and that, Dr Hoff has a more balanced and honest approach, gives you options for dental care and puts the decision in your hands. Personally, I feel like 8 am is way too early to be calling clients unless it's an emergency. I politely let the receptionist know that it was 8 am is a bit early to be calling me. She rudely said ok.. "So are you confirming?" I let her know that "No, I will not be confirming." Clearly my preferences are no concern if early morning rounds were more convenient for the front desk. Jesus, an "apologies" would have been great. Anyway, she then asked if I would like to reschedule and I said no. By this point I pictured having to deal with this woman in the future when making appointments and I definitely was not looking forward to it. I can't even begin to imagine how I would be treated if I experienced issues with my dental work performed there. I responded with a "no thank you." She then said "fabulous" and hung up in my face. Its pretty clear this office doesn't care about customer service or perhaps because I was a new customer they couldn't be bothered. At $195 a pop for a routine cleaning I imagine they're not hurting for cash either. Either way, I would rather take my business elsewhere where I am treated with respect.

Looking forward to trying the whitening. If you buy an at home tooth whitening system with them, it will last you virtually forever, depending on you. They promise you a free tooth whitening syringe with every dental hygiene appointment bi-annually. They pe-warn you not to drink red wine etc, no dark foods for up to two weeks after each whitening application. The syringes need to be kept in the fridge. Great moulds too. Great goodies for the teeth provided as well. The practice manager is lovely. They had my contact details down incorrectly initially, yet they changed that in a jiffy. Not only was the crown fitted on a tooth that had no root system to support it, the adjoining front tooth was damaged in the process. The damaged root had been packed with cotton wool, it was left inside the root & became so badly infected that I needed to have extensive surgery to remove all that was left of it before it caused any further infection. If I had the money, I'd be taking legal action against this company. Would NOT recommend

Dr Oberoi, the nurse and the receptionist were all so caring and reassuring, such a calm appointment that helped keep my daughter calm during the procedure. Thank you to you all there, we cannot thank you enough for being there for us and taking such good care of our daughter especially on a public holiday and during a Pandemic! The relief our daughter felt was huge, she kept asking me if I had written our review as she was extremely thankful for the relief in pain. I will admit I was very skeptical and nervous, but was in so much pain that I was willing to try anything. Well...I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Dr Oberoi was my knight in shining armour. He fixed my tooth in less than an hour, we were able to make it to Easter Sunday Mass and enjoyed the most wonderful day in Sydney.

I have been a patient of NIB Dental Sydney CBD clinic for over 10 years for general dental…read moreprocedures. My recent routine cleaning and check-up appointment was booked with Dr Chris Ha, because the dentist I usually see was out of country. I also have permanent wire retainers bonded inside of my teeth by an Orthodontist specialist at a different clinic. As soon as I got home straight after my appointment at NIB Dental centre, I checked and noticed the surface of the dental glue / bond covering the wire on some of my teeth was chipped. I called the clinic right away, so they can arrange for fixing the loosened wire as it apparently happened during my cleaning appointment. I knew the retainers were intact before the cleaning at NIB clinic, even Dr Ha examined them. The response I received from her and the clinic manager, without them even asking for details or photos or assessment, was that the cleaning process cannot affect the dental glue / bond material. I did explain to them that (regardless of how gentle or harsh) the only activity or contact with my teeth before I noticed the damage, was during the cleaning. So the damage would have occurred during the cleaning, rather than by mere exposure to air and saliva during my short train ride home!! Yet I received the rather arrogant and rude response that it couldn't have happened during the visit and not their responsibility to fix. Since they were not bothering with investigating the matter -or pretend to do- I asked about the formal complaints process (ie written & third party paths) but wasn't provided any. Oversights and accidents can happen with any procedure, but how it is handled afterwards counts more. I would not recommend Dr Ha and NIB clinic if you are after a reliable dentist and a health provider that values integrity, work ethics and their patient's goodwill. I will have to arrange for a separate costly appointment with my orthodontist (another clinic) to fix the chipped bonds.
