They tie your hook, bait it, and tell you when to reel it in... then when you get a fish they take it off for you. I enjoy getting in there and playing with the bait and the fish, so by the second day I convinced Curtis to let me pick my crawfish and bait the hook and even take a few fish off of the hook as well. These guides really know where the fish are, and what to use to catch them. They provide lunch on some of the trips, which is generally good (store bought) food.
