Checked this place out after having dinner across the street. Since it was getting dark, I could only explore for a bit before my Lyft came to pick me up to go back to my hotel in downtown Baltimore.
The lake is fenced off preventing you from going to the edge to check out. They did have benches for you to sit down to relax and take in the view.
After getting back to my hotel I looked up some info on this place. This was originally a marble quarry which dates back to 1877. In 2005, construction began on the surrounding area which was known as Quarry Lake at Greenspring, mixed residential development and commercial development that includes single family homes, condominiums, shops, restaurants, and office buildings. So in the middle of it all is this lake, which is 500 feet at it's deepest point.
In closing, it's a nice lake in a nice location. Housing here is probably pretty pricey since the whole area is nice and has vibe appeal.
