The hotel desk staff is lovely, and the facility is very clean and spacious. If you're looking for a budget-friendly extended stay, this is 5 stars! They offer so many appliances in apartment-style kitchens. Most units have spacious balconies with furniture. The blackout "curtains" are very serious metal shades that are excellent for sleeping. As typical in Europe, your bathroom separates the toilet from the sink & a towel warmer is available. Downstairs has a pool table, library, etc. consistent with a nursing home recreation center. Currently, this hotel shares space with a partially-filled retirement home, so you'll see gatherings of the residents all around the ground floor. I thought that was an added bonus to have sweet, quiet neighbors.
For me, I was looking for a hotel with at least amenities of facial tissues in room, multiple sets of towels, and a 24/7 reception. None of those are available, so you have to be careful on your arrival and departure times. If you stay for 7 days (minimum), you do receive room cleaning including a towel changeout. My 5-day visit didn't include any in-room services. I was supplied with two rolls of 1-ply toilet tissue which luckily did last since re-stock services weren't included. The shampoo is just hand soap (although I like the bergamot scent). No lotion or conditioner is provided. If you're looking for a comfortable multi-day stay with robust hotel services, like consumables, I would look elsewhere. read more
