It's clean, beds are comfortable, and the pressure in the shower is strong with plenty of hot water. Little things too: our room (# 120) was a tad larger than usual, the television is big, and the art -- something I notice -- is local and attractive. The staff is exceptionally nice and if you need to make a quick getaway, I-95 is right there ... but you won't hear a bit of noise. I wasn't familiar with Waltersboro, but it's on the map with a cute, if not sleepy, downtown area housing design and antique shops. Also a good number of restaurants with great reviews. If you don't feel like driving there's a Cracker Barrel outside the hotel and Ruby Tuesday a few blocks away.

It was just an overnight but I also appreciate the free breakfast in the morning to get me on my way. They had sausage eggs. Of course. Plenty of juices and coffee, fruits and vegetables and muffins. The band was very comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. I also appreciate the fact that I was able to change the nozzle on the shower head to different patterns and strengths. And I also appreciate the lighting on the bathroom mirror. It was a good stay!

Each amenity on the list was in the room: fridge, microwave, etc. Again, everything was clean and neat. The only room improvement to note would be the provided seating. It wasn't the most comfortable chair I've sat in. In a room with a king bed, it might be helpful to add more comfortable seating for two, possibly a love seat sofa. The first thing we noticed when pulling into this Econo Lodge parking lot was the spectacular array of flowers, planters, and hanging baskets. Clearly, the owners take extra care to enhance and maintain the visual appearance of their business. Very pretty! There was no advertising that this location offered an extensive hot breakfast, but the small eating area and items provided were sufficient and, like the room, clean. Of note, this is not a fancy, "high-priced" overnight accommodation. If you're looking for a lot of overpriced bells and whistles, you might be disappointed.
