After driving all day my son and I stopped for the night. The manager/staff (mother and son) were extremely friendly and very nice. The room was clean, smelled good and the AC was already on when we walked in. There was a fridge, stove and microwave in the room we stayed in. They also have free wifi. I was not able to turn the TV on but was to tired to worry about it so I did not contact the front desk. The shower was large and the beds were super comfy. read more

We are traveling with one of our dogs, so we needed a pet friendly hotel. Otherwise we wouldn't have chosen this place, and as soon as we walked in our room, we knew this never would have even been a consideration had we been traveling without a dog. It seems like the hotel is trying to make updates which is why I give it 3 stars. The bathroom counter seems updated, and the light fixtures seem updated. The room is probably newly painted, which is the reason for uncovered electrical outlets maybe? The carpet is awful. Disgusting. I'm pretty sure there is a health code violation somewhere in there. Insects like this place too. Glad we booked this on Hotwire for an inexpensive rate, otherwise this quick overnight stay would have gone a lot differently. read more

Mediocre hotel room in need of desperate repairs. Got a non smoking room no trace of smoke however the bathtub almost flooded the tub along with no bathroom fan so it became very steamy along with the caulk starting to let loose the bathroom tile. If I had to choose another hotel it would be Hilton or an IHG or choice/sleep inn. Toilet is below knee level and bathroom door doesn't close. An outlet was coming out of the wall (fire hazard) although the internet was great. I wouldn't pay more than 50$ a night off Peak and 70$ a night on peak for this room (2 queen) room 225 also the AC and TV barely work but do. Great place to get you buy if you need a night or two! They also do allow pets!! read more

After driving 8 hours and being exhausted, we chose a Choice Hotels location as we usually do. The 2 front desk ladies were absolutely wonderful. Then we got to the room. Filth!! The carpet was disgusting with huge stains and what could have been blood spots. There were 2 long hairs on top of one bedspread and 4 hairs in the tub. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom. Metal fixtures in the bathroom were badly rusted. The microwave was dirty on top and inside. The lamp shade was stained and had a wire poking out the top. There was no soap, NO toilet paper and only ONE Kleenex in the box. The TV was not connected so the manager had to come connect it. There was no blanket on one of the beds, just sheets and bedspread. Positives: we saw no bugs and the AC worked great. We have been a Choice Hotels member for over 10 years and have a friend who has a beautiful franchise also in Texas. I have no idea how this hotel is able to operate under their name. When the "manager" came to fix the TV, he informed us that the next day there would be no service as he only had one cleaning staff member and was short 12 employees. This filth and ill-repair did not happen overnight. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT expect all Choice Hotels to be equal. I posted 10 pictures, but only 2 appear. Hmmm read more

Let's start off saying I didn't expect much for 59.45 a night. There pet friendly is the only reason I stopped in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, smell good and the AC was already on when we walked in. They also have HBO and a fridge. They have a free breakfast and have cool little waffles in the shape of Texas. They have free wifi and it's quite and peaceful. read more

Roaches, Trash on floor, Stains all over, room falling apart. Do you like sleeping in a room with trash all over the floor? Do you like bugs crawling on your while you sleep? Like bugs in your refrigerator? Do you enjoy sneezing and coughing due to a pungent smell? Then this place is for YOU! This hotel offers the "Hotel Experience" where you are required to vacuum and shampoo your carpets in your own room. The bed will be made, but don't expect the sheets to have been washed. Those stains looks like milk? Think again, this hotel seems to mostly be used as an hourly hotel for the local street walkers. When you pull up and there are no guests at this hotel, take that as a sign and move on. read more

We were traveling as a team, and they chose this hotel as the team hotel. The staff was very nice, but my room was infested with black bugs and green knats. I took pictures and video It then I went down to the desk, showed them the pics and video and asked for insect spray. They did not have any and could not find any so they said that they would call the manager. They called me a little later and said ' there is nothing that they could do about it till the pest control service comes. They even said that there was no room to move me to, they offered no discount, they offered no points. IN the morning I realized that the doors do not close tightly, light shines through so bugs can get right in. Very disappointed in the insect situation! read more

Carpet is disgusting. The bottoms of our feet are completely black. Someone needs to look into shampooing carpets.

We were looking for good reviews at a reasonable price and chose this for a 2 night stay. We are very pleased and will definitely stay here again when in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. This place sucks. They fucked up our reservation. The tv didn't work the entire time. When we complained about it, the night manager only said, sorry there is nothing we can do. They asked if we wanted a downstairs room. We said yes. They said sorry, none of our downstairs rooms meet your requests, is upstairs ok? Well, I guess it'd fucking have to be since you only got one more floor wouldn't it? The night manager is quite possibly the most incompetent worker in any line of labor I've ever come across, not to mention you can't understand the words coming out of her mouth. Unless this is all you can afford, for Christ sake, go to the Hampton or Holiday Inn by Applebees because I'd rather sleep in my goddamn car than stay another night here. I've worked retail and I know a lot of times it's not the people on the front line's fault when things go bad. But when you just straight up say there's nothing we can do about it and don't offer any kind of help or advice or attempt to do your job in any way, then you deserve a bad review my friend. P.S. The fuckin toilet was clogged up the entire time from trying to flush a very small amount of toilet paper down it. read more
