The Dizzy's restaurant had a very limited menu of burgers, wings, tenders, fries, a few veggies, etc. It also has a bar area with tv's. The burgers were large and pretty good w/ excellent french fries. Our waitress spoke VERY softly. There isn't much in Cheraw that we saw, a couple antique shops, stores, and a rundown worn out City. We also didn't see many restaurants, and not to be negative but why is there even a hotel in Cheraw? It is not off a major highway, and not much around this area to see and do. A few other areas around Cheraw in a 3 mile radius appear to be boarded up, closed, and in poor condition. Cheraw appears to be an old town.

The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on. The breakfast was a fucking joke (even by la quinta standards). Small sausage patties (and I mean the smallest I have ever seen) and hard boiled eggs. THATS IT ! NO scrambled eggs, only 2 choices of cereal. I seriously considered checking out the night I got there for the gorgeous Spring Hill place. This place should be completely renovated and not have the wyndham name until that's done. I'll be back in 2 weeks and guaranteed I will not be staying here again.

They had spacious desks, lots of lighting throughout and a dual shade option to blackout the room for sleep. The coffee/tea bar has a Keurig maker, but leaked mini water bottles to make the coffee. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The bathroom lighting is quite harsh but there is a motion censored nightlight. By the TV is a cool curved touch light with European outlets. There are plenty of outlets with both standard and USB outlets. The only tiny thing i would add is a charging pad on the counters in case ppl forget their chargers. TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important. The room was a good size and I had plenty of room. The hotel had an exercise room and business area. The breakfast selections were good too. The dining area was small but adequate for the size of the hotel and the woman taking care of things kept it well stocked and clean. She even shared some travel advice and put a muffin in a baggie for me to eat on the road. She included a napkin too. If my travels bring me to Rockingham again, this is where I will be staying.
