There is a laundry room on site and not too expensive and the office will be happy to trade you dollars for quarters. Ice machine and spacious parking lot. Quiet atmosphere and no distractions from locals or traffic. I stayed a month and then I didn't really want to leave. The owners are family oriented and they are very involved in the business and keeping the rooms cleaned daily. I would recommend this to anyone that is in need of a place to stay for a while or just stay overnight. I have no complaints about this place and I am very grateful for their hospitality. WiFi too!

There are holes in the wall, the bathroom light does not have a covering on it, the mattress is dirty. There is no iron or coffee maker. The lamps do not work and yes there are bulbs in them. We had to rearrange the whole room just to have access to electrical outlets. The sink did not drain properly and the water stinks.. should I say more?

It is so cliquish that my kids were treated like outsiders even though they were born there. Lots of oil royalty money. Good ol boys club...crooked law , crooked DAs judges police etc. I'm hoping the feel in town will change now that a new Sherriff & a new DA have taken over. I believe the ones in place today to be good people. Maybe in a few years I can give a better review on the town itself. Until then carthage itself gets a below # . So many things wrong. 1. No free breakfast as advertised…read more They said it was due to covid, but they still advertise it so they know what they're doing. 2. No fitness room, as advertised. Down due to construction 3. Room was a dusty mess. 4. Tv and hair dryer didn't work 5. AC barely worked. Normally I like 72 and I had to put it on 66 to just feel like 75... 6. NO ELEVATOR and they put me on the second floor to carry heavy bags up 2 flights of stairs. 7. Room wasn't cleaned during 3 days, unless you count the bed being made 8. Dishonest with the check out. I checked out at 9 am a day early and they gave me a receipt for the full amount. I asked them to refund the extra day which they did, but I wouldn't have even have asked if the stay hadn't been literally the worst one I've had while traveling. No remorse shown for lying about things not being as advertised, either. I didn't give any comments while there, but I did this to warn others.
