The place is simple and unassuming. Just a plain open, flat land. There's a huge, flat lot of dirt and gravel before you enter the fenced area, I believe this is for boondockers. Once you enter the fence, more green space with trees. We arrived around 745pm but still received a warm welcome from Gary, he's funny and you can just tell he's such nice guy(love his accent!). I felt at ease in the area, it didn't creep me out at all. It was such a peaceful, quiet night. Woke up to a bright, sunny morning. There's small pasture in the middle of the RV park with a dog playing catch with a man and a baby, so nice! Nice morning start. I also noticed a tent in the camp this morning. I always re-confirm our stay several times since we got lost in their system one year. Our Class A rig is overall 58' with the dolly and we require one of the two pull throughs. We go out the same way we come in via a turn around at the end of park. The Park is usually full the times we have been there so make reservations far ahead. We leave a message most of the time and he always has called back promptly. We will continue to stay at this quiet and picturesque park.

Throughout the event, there were several instances where important information and expectations were not clearly communicated to us. Rather than feeling welcomed and supported during such an important family occasion, we often felt overlooked and unsure of what was expected of us. What was most upsetting was the manner in which concerns and simple questions were handled. At one point, when I attempted to ask a question, I felt I was spoken to in an unnecessarily harsh and disrespectful way. Instead of helping resolve the concern, the interaction made me feel as though asking a question was somehow creating a problem. After that experience, I chose simply to step back and say very little for the remainder of the event. A wedding is an emotional and incredibly important day for both families. Regardless of who is paying for an event, I believe every parent and family member should be treated with kindness, professionalism, and basic respect. There were beautiful moments that weekend, and I am grateful for those. However, based on our personal experience with the communication, coordination, and treatment of family members, I would have difficulty recommending this venue to another family without encouraging them to have every expectation, responsibility, and detail clearly discussed in advance.
