The rooms are adequate in size, with a mini kitchenette that has a fridge, microwave and kettle/Keurig. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet in the morning will cater to most appetites and tastes. As mentioned, the pool is great, being a decent enough size that you can get a proper swim in if so desired, as well as the water slide. The slide is a fair length, even going outside the hotel before curving back in. My son absolutely loved it. Although they provide breakfast, there's no restaurant in the hotel. However, there is a Boston Pizza and Irish Pub within the same parking lot, which provide decent food and a 10% discount if you show your room key. If we ever go back to Drumheller, I will definitely stay here again.

But they had it set up like a little oasis which made it inviting for grandparents to sit on the side lines and watch. The breakfast was pretty decent and very well done covid style. The rooms were nice - the bed could've been a tad bit softer but everything was clean. My only complaint would be the check in. There was a trainee who checked us in and didn't update any credit card information, got our rooms mixed up and it was a huge to do. if I hadn't noticed I would've been paying for all my families room. He was nice but clearly wasn't prepared check ins and could use some more training

(she might try and talk you into going to Athens restaurant for Greek food, but read the reviews first) Rooms have TV, fridge. Building was built only 17 years ago, so brand spanking new Breakfast is continental with a variety of dry cereals, toast, fruit salad, yogurt, coffee. Looks like a tap at sink for RO or distilled water which was nice We would stay here again for sure

The B&B has quite a few rooms, all decorated with cozy quilts in different colors. Four of us slept comfortably in one room with two queen size beds. The rooms are clean and include cable TV, air-conditioning, a mini fridge and hairdryer in the bathroom. We didn't have any problem with noise, as everyone was quite courteous and quiet. And all for a very decent price! Breakfast is served every morning in the kitchen. You get your choice of several different cereals which they have out in tupperware containers, along with toast and various jams and fruit. And of course, there is fresh coffee, tea, and juice. It's a great place for anyone to stay, whether a large family or a couple. There were a couple other families staying there at the same time we were, along with a traveling couple. I would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Drumheller. Plus I love supporting local ma&pop operations like this one! It's very true though that the misquitoes in Drumheller are some of the worst around. It doesn't matter if it's morning, afternoon or evening -- you will still get eaten alive. Make sure to bring repellent with you! I would also recommend having a car with you while you're here, since it will make it easier to drive around everywhere (and not have to suffer the misquitoes). Walking is not really your best option in Drumheller!

Ok, so this place is listed on the Drumheller tourism website, but there are no reviews for it…read moreanywhere and they don't have a website, so I wasn't sure if it still existed. Friends had told us they had stayed here a number of years ago and that it was a motel on top of a bar that had office chairs instead of regular chairs... we just had to check it out. That and every other place in Drumheller that was remotely in our budget was already booked up. I called only two days before we were scheduled to be there to see if they had any availabilities. They only have one non-smoking room with two double beds, and the rate was something like $75/night for both of us. Sweet! They do also have a number of smoking rooms that go for about $55/night. The "hotel" is located in a residential area, not really near all the big attractions of Drumheller. Assuming you have a map, it's pretty easy to locate with its yellow sign. It's basically an old school two-story apartment building, with a liquor store and the bar on the bottom, and 8-9 rooms upstairs. We went into the bar to check-in, and yes it did still have all its office chairs (and also a stage), and a small group of people just hanging out (obviously all friends of the owners). A very nice lady gave us the key and opened the liquor store for us to purchase some vodka and tonic. She showed us to the room and said she would bring the cans of tonic upstairs for us. A few minutes later she showed up with the tonic, as well as a lime and a knife for us, and handed me a bucket and said if I ever wanted some ice, just to come downstairs to the bar (which I eventually did). It was very considerate of her. The room itself was fine, it was one long carpeted room with the two beds on top of the liquor store side of the building, with an AC unit, a microwave, tv, and a place to hang stuff up. The bathroom was small but clean and filled with lots of towels. No signs of bedbugs (I'm totally paranoid ever since we had to have our place treated, twice!) which was good. The bar itself has very cheap drinks (bonus!). They also have a patio at the back which is basically like a backyard with picnic tables. I am giving this place 4 stars because for what it is, we really couldn't have asked for more. It was a cheap hotel, clean, and the service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was a decent size and had a full kitchenette including fully stocked kitchen utensils and pans. Our AC unit was not working super well and staff were quick to respond to our call for help. Kids had put the cushions from the couch to close to the unit and it effected its ability to cool the room. Easy fix to a major problem when it was +30 degrees outside. My biggest complaint was the size of the washroom. It was hardly big enough to change in. Also I didn't think the beds were the most comfortable. My friend said hers was to bad though so maybe it was just my mattress. The place was very clean and I loved how they offered fresh popped popcorn in the afternoon only they don't let you eat it in the breakfast area. The continental breakfast was pretty standard. Not awful but nothing amazing but it is free after all. Staff were friendly and courteous. The kids loved the swimming pool which included a wicked fast waterslide. The hot tub was a nice temperature for relaxing in while the kids played.

Imagine a bachelor's apartment from 1979, then imagine spending $200 to sleep in his bed and swim in his cold pool. Our room wasn't ready at check in (at 3 PM), the lobby was covered in dirt, I couldn't access the building from the secondary door even though it was the middle of the day, and a family leaving the pool told my wife not to stay there. So, we didn't. We went across the lot to the Ramada and stayed there instead. The Super 8 is a perfectly acceptable drive-up motor hotel, but the idea that you should pay more than eighty bucks for a room there is laughable. Don't do it!

Outside layout is a little confusing with Front desk on one side and most of the parking on the other. We did a loop once around the block just to see. There's only 2 spots in front and they were filled. We waited a few minutes at the front desk before someone came out to check us in. After that it was pretty smooth. The motel has a number of room choices and we had pre-booked 2 queen and one twin bed room. Kids really liked that. Room was surprisingly spacious, lots of room even with 3 beds. There were 2 sinks; one in the bathroom and one outside. Loved that. People could use the sink outside when bathroom was in use. Shower spray was also very powerful which I liked. Room had a mini fridge (no freezer), a microwave, one night tale, a dresser, and a good size desk. WiFi was fast. I was getting 192Mbps. Last place we stayed we got 11Mbps. They use shaw. There was also a Shaw Open signal that you can use if you're a shaw customer. I think this is a family run business. The front desk staff also cleaned the rooms. Cleaning was good and we got the right amount of amenities like towels and shampoo and stuff. Rate includes continental breakfast. There were muffins, bread, bagels, boiled eggs, ham, coffee, orange juice, iced tea, assorted teas, and cereals. Not bad. Pretty basic which suited us fine. Staff was a little business like - not much smiling. But a pretty good stay nonetheless. Would definitely stay here again.
