A big obstacle with all this was not just taking down the existing fences, but also the jungle that grew within the chain link fence and masses of shrubbery that bordered our lot. Other fencing companies either gave outrageous quotes to remove all the shrubbery and put up a new fence, or they did not offer the option to remove the shrubbery at all. I was fortunate to find Duane and his team at Precision Fence. They gave a quote that was quite reasonable for removing all the shrubbery AND old fences and putting up a new cedar fence. They were timely with the whole process and were easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. The quote was spot-on and there were no hidden costs. We went with steel posts and so glad we did with the winds we have here. Worth it. However, it is now 6 years later and the past 3-4 years the gates started to sag against each other. We have tried various things to fix it which helped for a while and kept them functional, but it has only gotten worse. So bad now that we can't use either gate and the wood is damaged from us having to pull/push so hard to get them open and closed. Called Northstar, said they would come out, ghosted us. We were willing to pay for his time and even repairs if he had any ideas how to fix it. We just needed to know our options and what could be done because we use our gates a lot. Called many times, left messages, ghosted. So, not so happy with it now.
