He stated that the skylights were a little more than he estimated but that he would eat the cost if we paid him cash. When he tried to replace the flashing, he stated that his tools got dirty from an excess amount of tar and that it was going to cost an additional $2500 to replace his tools. What kind of extortion is that? We told him no and he left the job site, our roof, a complete mess. When I asked him to return to correct the mess he left - broken siding, no trim, nails and trash everywhere - and asked if this was representative of all their work, he cussed me out (really!) and told me to find someone else. He blocked me and my wife's cell phone numbers. He told me that in the near future he was shutting down the company and joining the military so I guess their one year warranty is worthless as well! So there is the quality of work and service you can expect! You are fre-warned - avoid Oak City Contracting at all costs!

I find myself outside helping or installing all of the gazebo myself. He really wasn't any help at all to make matters worse he said to I have to leave if you need help contact me. I found that funny that's what I hire him to do. Basically he walked off the job. He changed me $350 for installation and I paid home $200. My neighbor helped me finished the gazebo.
