She was not money hungry, she just cared and was good at what she did. Norman's quality of life improved immensely! He usually hates the vet but he got so excited to see her. Every dog owner should take your fur baby to see Dr. Palmer. Chiropractic is underrated for animals. I think it really needs to raise awareness. I take my dog CoCo to see Dr. Palmer on a regular basis. We see results right away. My dog has a very anxious personality, but after a few visits, she is happy to be adjusted, because she knows the adjustments make her feel better afterwards. Dr Palmer has been such a blessing. My senior German Shepherd had hurt herself and she also has degenerative myelopathy. It had gotten to the point where she refused to walk. I would have to carry her out to poop and pee. I tried all kinds of braces, shoes, canine protein, pain killers etc and nothing helped in the long run. Before Dr Palmer, I saw a couple different doctors specializing in physiotherapy, and got different treatments. But she got worse. By the time I found Dr Palmer I had lost all hope. Dr Palmer was patient and went over all the issues my dog has been having and observed her walking and then decided a plan for her treatment. After 3 adjustments she has so much more energy and is able to stand on her own and walk some distance. Which she had not done in months. The walking has been progressively improving both in her stance and also in distance. I especially love the wholistic approach Dr Palmer adopts. She suggested a different raw food diet which also seems to be much healthier. (Just started on it). I could go on and on about the positive effect she has had on my dog and me as a result. Dr Palmer helped my Buster so much. I have a 4 year old Jack Russel mix who started acting up, like not wanting to chase his toys or go for walks. Even eating was becoming a chore. So I took him to the vet. He was in pain was the diagnosis and they gave me pain pills for him. You see Buster likes to climb a tree chasing squirrels and then jump from 5 feet off the ground. So I found Dr Palmer. After her first adjustment Buster became his old self again. Loving his walks and fetching his toys. We blocked his tree limb so he can't climb so high now. Dr. Marissa Palmer makes the whole chiropractic experience very easy. She comes to your house (or wherever) and works on whatever your animal needs. I have a senior Great Dane who has some arthritis and hip dysplasia, and seemed to be licking his arms quite a bit which would suggest he was in pain. I had heard of other dog owners having success with chiropractic work and I wanted to see if it would help my Ned. At our first appointment with Dr. Palmer, I was pleased that she explained what she was doing every step of the way. She told me what adjustments she made, told me what to expect after the appointment, and we were able to schedule a follow up. I noticed that Ned was definitely feeling better after her visit. We have had several more appointments since that first one, and I'm pleased with Ned's mobility and progress. Best of all, he is not licking or showing other signs of pain. Dr Palmer is amazing!!! Our 90lb mixed rescue began limping and yipping with every move. We had no idea what had happened. She began to have labored breathing and wouldn't move. We had to get her to the vet but we knew we could not move her like this. A friend had told us about Dr. Palmer and that she made house calls. My wife and I have a couple of mini-Aussie Shepherds. They're pretty small, mini-toy sized. Our guy had been limping some, favoring his back left knee. Our vet said to keep an eye on him, that when these breeds are shrunk down, bone structure doesn't always translate well. The vet said we may be looking at surgery down the road. Our girl Nela was limping for a few weeks when we finally decided to call dr. Palmer. After one visit Nela never limped again. Dr. Palmer has been taking care of my 2 Westie boys; 9 and 8 years old. One has developed arthritis in his knee after his acl surgery. The other one sometimes limp after a long walk. They have both had X-rays by their Vet to rule out fractures and confirm arthritis before going to their animal chiropractor. We found Dr. Palmer on Yelp and could not be happier with the results and service our older dog has received. Our 9 year old female boxer was diagnosed with bones spurs on her spine which began affecting her ability to walk. I was searching for alternatives to drugging my dog to increase her quality of life. I called Dr. Palmer for another treatment plan other than what my Veterinarian was prescribing. My 4 yrs. old Pekingese was having problems walking from spinal cord issues. When Dr. Palmer saw our dog she was very slow to walk tail and head down. Dr. Palmer was kind, courteous and attentive to our dog needs. She took our history and evaluated our dog physically. Dr. Palmer gentle care helps calm our dog so she can do her adjustments. I could see that the adjustment did help my dog. She started to walk better in the two weeks before her next treatment.
