I walked to the back of the store to get a case of Angry Orchard and when I got to the register, the cashier, Susan rudely asked me if I was with a gentleman that she just had refused service to. I didn't enter the store with him, I didn't have any interaction with him and I didn't know him. But Susan rudely said to me " Are you with him because if you are I'm not serving you". I was taken off guard because what would give her the idea to ask me that but beside s the color of my skin. He was a black man and l'm a black woman, so in her mind I was with him. It wasn't so much the question that bothered me, it was her tone toward me and the fact that she profiled me. She was nasty and I took that question as her being a bit racist. She did not ask the white male or white female that walk in before me were they with the black gentleman she refused service, but she asked me. It's 2025 and people are still practicing their racist believes. If you are going to be in a customer position you should treat all people with dignity and respect. I will not be returning to that store ever again.

I did not buy any over the pandemic years because of the gatherings restrictions. This year, I went back to trade in my 2 empty kegs and buy a couple of full ones. I was told that I would have to pay the keg deposit all over again because I didn't have a receipt for the deposit I paid years ago. I said: " but I have the kegs to trade in". However, like the other branch I've been to, there are some gems to be found. There is a small area of higher end selections and they do have sales on this. I was able to get a bottle of 2008 Dom Perignon and a bottle of Caymus on sale, as well as a bottle of Opus One (not on sale, but still delicious). If you want every day wine, you can find it here. If you want higher end wine, the selection is rather limited but there are bottles to be found here as well.
