This branch is a thousand times worse! Refused to let me DEPOSIT a check into my account because I didn't have ID w me. Would not try to verify my identity in another way! Manager worse than the teller! When you call to get general info (i.e. will the bank take my change) you can't call branch, it's a general number and you have to input your member number and your SSN, after waiting for 5 min on hold. The only recommendation I would have is to make at least one phone number available to members for customer service handling a specific problem and need an answer a.s.a.p. As an example, I wired monies on Friday 10-17th, and was advised the Federal Reserve already confirmed receiving this money, and the recipient is still waiting for the funds.

I'm writing this review now because it's obvious the bank will not make things right after all these years. Money was taken out of my sons account without our permission. This was my child's college fund. I was under the impression since hes a minor no one can take money from his account. Not true. Over $1000 of his hard earned money was taking through online transactions. Unfortunately we didn't notice until a year later. Bank took 0 responsibility and fully blamed us. When I closely looked at the transactions, I saw it was definitely not what a 7 year old would take money out on. Shame on this place. They blew me off on the phone. And when I would speak to them about it they were rude and dismissive! Last, I was told they were working to get the money back. It's been years, so I guess not. We are actively searching to move our money elsewhere. Shameful business practices and very untrustworthy.

There are usually bigger restrictions even to get prequalification letter. For example, they do not give such letter based on soft credit check -- something you usually can get from any bank. 3. Service is not really personalized and the staff members are not really interested in servicing their clients. 4. Much more difficult to do any sort of banking besides some really simple tasks. For example, I have HELOC but I cannot get checkbook for that HELOC, hence using it is more difficult than regular banks HELOC products. OR They do not send statements for mortgage and all payments should be done either electronically or in person -- that how I was explained. 5. Interest rates for deposit accounts products are subpar -- any bank can either match or has better interests with much more variety of products. The only benefit I see in UKRFCU is that staff employees speak native language, however most of the banks in Philadelphia have either interpreters services or dual language employees these days; therefore it is not even a benefit anymore.

Well, maybe not quite that long, but its history fades into the distant past. Now, it sits across from Starbucks and Gap Body, and cattycorner from the Black Horse Tavern in the middle of the Borough. While the neighborhood has certainly changed, the driving force of FNB&T has not. It remain dedicated to the prospering of those around it. What is most significant is that it takes its role as an anchor of the community seriously. They take good care of your money, and make a real effort to remain involved in the lifeblood commerce of Newtown. In this regard it does a great job. They make their operations training room available to community groups for meetings, and even offer their executives for places on the boards of directors of the many non-profits around town. When PennDot came to town attempting to "preserve" the Centre Ave. Bridge by basically destroying it, the Bank stood up with its neighbors and said, "Nay!" It threw its considerable influence around the right places, and the Commonwealth backed off. First National is a part of our community in every sense of the word. It is not for nothing that it is called a Trust company. It certainly has earned ours.

The tellers here, as few as they are, are really great, very patient, and very personable.
