Walking this lovely Promenade is surely one of the best things to do in Vevey.
It's just nice to stroll along the wonderful Lake with it's mountain views on the other (french) side. It's quite a wide promenade, so there's plenty of space for everybody. Lots of trees and benches provide shade and a place for a break. Some stalls offer food, sweets and ice cream. You will pass the giant fork (La Fourchette) on the way. A quick, but fun photo op.
Continue on the Quai Perdonnet until you reach the Quai Roussy. But why stop, it's still goes on. Walk until at least the "Musée suisse du Jeu", which is located in a small, but attractive old castle from the 13th century.
It's a nice area to have a walk. Definitely worth to make a stop in Vevey. read more
