I'm so glad I found Inn on Main. It has such a charm and personality. A huge difference in the quality of service and value compared to what you expect from a typical small town Hotel. It is not luxury, but it is very clean and well managed. The parking is well lit. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a large motel with doors facing the parking. There is a nice pool area. There are also ice and vending machines. The lobby has coffee all the time. I did not make it to the breakfast, so I can not comment much on that other than to say there was a Texas shaped waffle maker. My room was a suite with kitchenette including a 3/4 sized refrigerator, two electric burner stove, microwave, toaster, and kitchen sink. Nice for extended stays. The bathroom sink extended to the right from the kitchenette area and was well lit. No hair dryer that I could see, but plugs available. There was also an iron and full sized ironing board, closet and dresser. The toilet / shower or bath room was separated by a door and it had a loud but great functioning vent. Towels were modest but functional as well. Basic toiletries were provided. I thought the room was nice and comfortable. I did not need a golf course or spa, just a place to sleep. The price was very good. I'd definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately, this particular stay was disappointing because the hotel's Wi-Fi was unavailable for a substantial portion of our two-night reservation. The outage reportedly had already been ongoing for several days, but we were not notified before arrival or at check-in. Because the trip involved confidential professional work, using a shared business center was not a practical alternative. The front desk also directed us to contact the hotel's internet provider ourselves to troubleshoot the problem, which felt like a responsibility that should have remained with the property. When we later contacted management, we received a different explanation and did not receive the promised follow-up from the general manager or any meaningful accommodation, such as a refund of the internet charge. This appears to have been a one-off experience rather than representative of our previous stays, which were comfortable and enjoyable. Still, better communication, clearer accountability, and a reasonable adjustment would have gone a long way toward resolving the issue.

When you pulled the bed back they look like someone had already slept in it. The sheets were all wrinkled, and everything else there was a black smudge underneath the bottom part of the bedspread. Kids were running up and down, shouting even as of 10 o'clock at night chasing four dogs. It was just a convoluted mess. There is absolutely no way that I would put even my animal in something like this much less me stay there.

When we arrived there was nobody at the front desk we waited for a few minutes before somebody finally came out of the back. Although it took awhile, the gentleman was very helpful and polite. The next time we returned to the hotel there was nobody at the desk again. We got a few things from the market and waited for somebody to show up. This location is very loud against the highway. I usually sleep with ear plugs in so this does not bother me, but unfortunately I could still hear loud engines and sirens with my ear plugs in. Also, one of the things we were looking forward to was the hot tub. When we got dressed and went down to the hot tub, it was covered with yellow tape that said caution. No go for the hot tub. I think I will be choosing a different location the next time we visit Victoria.

The toilet was encased by a wall!!! My mom's wheelchair and this wall wouldn't allow her to reach. The toilets are extremely low, so if you use a transfer, it is very hard. We mostly used the restroom down stairs in the lobby because it was big. Mom could barely get into the high bed. I was exhausted after the trip.

First, the reservation was easy to do. The gentleman was so kind and friendly. They texted and called to remind me of our upcoming daycare. It's super easy to find (it's Victoria so it's easy anyway). The big dogs were already outside playing when we walked up and my dog was already nervous. He didn't want to go in but the lady who greeted us was so nice. Verified his vax had been received. Took him back and boom I was out in less than 5 minutes. Picked him up and another lady was there and she was also super friendly. Sent us home with his report card and a photo and 2 milkbones. In and out in 5 minutes or less. He did well and enjoyed the new pups he met. He'll be back Friday and will hopefully get a nice nail trim so I'll update good or bad. I think residents already know how great this place is because there were a lot of dogs there. It seems like they actually let them play and not just put them in a kennel all day and leave them there. If you need a day care or over night boarding definitely check them out!

I took her back…read moreto get her groomed for the second time. this is when red flags waved, as I drove into the parking lot Sophie started to whimper and shake uncontrollably. she has never had this reaction being taken to a groomer's place before, not even to going to the vet. I voiced a concern that this was not a normal reaction for her. I asked if it was possible that someone was mean to her, they absolutely said that wouldn't happen. I gave instructions on how I wanted her groomed, everyone petted her and all seemed well. I picked her up, the groom was not how I wanted, her coat was uneven and choppy. that afternoon into evening she was not her usual happy self. she was sullen and withdrawn. I've had to fix the mess the groomer left. I am very disappointed with Sophie's treatment and will never go back.
