We live in Petoskey and sadly no Qdoba or Chipotle so we hit Qdoba every Wednesday night in TC for the b1g1 free chicken entree. 2 bowls w/ 2 drinks, chips and queso is only $16.xx. I want to preface this review to say this is not a one time experience. This has been ongoing and sadly i expect it to be sub par now. Which is shameful for any restaurant. Because of that i owe you a review after repeatedly failing me. My burrito was half wrapped and falling apart. The steak inside was cold. They forgot to add my sour cream side to the quesidilla. The quesadilla was soggy and fell apart when lifting it up because there was hardly any cheese inside and only fajita veggies. It also leaked all over the tray and soaked it to the point of needing to just throw it in the trash. The prices have increased over the last year or so and the ingredients even that go into the queso has changed to make it more of a cheese soup than queso dip It's all trying done to save qdoba a buck and cut corners and push that off onto the consumer. The price of everything qdoba offers is not worth what you get anymore, especially recently with food quality going down on their supply chain side and prices going up. Ive eaten a TON of stuff at this location over the years and it's only getting worse and worse, to the point of me finally having to say something and write this review. The chips get salted so much they are not edible as well. The irregularity of people who work here vs the training they relieve shows to make burritos suffer as one day it might be packed full of stuff and rolled neatly and other times you can see the worker struggle to even make the wrap and then it gets all dumped onto another wrap and double wrapped and finally handled to the point of it not being appetizing anymore. Shame on you guys. I will never be coming back (and according to my qdoba app I have eaten at this TC location over 70 times since 2014). Gonna cash in my points and say SEE Ya! Hopefully whatever goes into this location next will be better food because I don't see this location surviving another 1 or 2 years at this rate. read more

Wow usually good last few visits here. The other day ordered my standard chicken burrito. The guy put a tiny spoon of chicken on it and was rushing me through the line, but I caught it and made a comment. He then proceeded to scoop up a larger scoop of grilled chicken and I thought he was going to put it on instead he was defending himself saying you are getting this much. Laughable. I walked away. First, let me start off by telling you my order. I think it's important to say the specific things I got as to help you understand my order. This place is highly customizable so saying "the food is good" doesn't do much when you don't know what I got. I ordered a cheese crusted quesadilla with grilled adobo chicken, cilantro lime rice, three cheese queso, and shredded cheese with a side of salsa Verde. Every aspect of this quesadilla was so good. I thought the cheese crusted quesadilla with queso and more cheese inside would've been too cheesy, but it wasn't for me (it may be for you). Never order the chips and salsa/queso or whatever. You will get ripped off! Every time the bag is maybe 10% full of chips, it is a complete joke. They used to fill the bags all the way up.. not the case any more. Not worth it at all. I even complained to corporate about it and they gave me a free burrito, but nothing changed at the store. I used to hit this joint when I lived downstate. It's a fast food Mexican type deal. Wait, here. Qdoba is to Taco Bell as Quizno's is to Subway Does that help? Anyway, they have some really great food. The lime-cilantro rice that goes inside the steak burrito is absolutely wonderful! I mean, the whole menu is just superb. Also, their portions are amazingly big, and there is NO WAY I can make it through a whole burrito on my own. So yeah, good stuff. Traverse city Qdoba's are by far the best I've ever had! Great amount of portions and food is always great! Usually get a chicken burrito the chicken is always perfect! I always get chips and queso and love that they give me plenty of chips! I cannot say that about other qdobas around. Perfect amount of salt as well on the chips. I'd give these locations 6 stars if I could. They are also very quick to get you through the line. Good food, bad service. The girls who make your burrito are just rude. I enjoy their grilled chicken burritos, but I like to have them mixed up and grilled. I do this so that I don't take one bite of chicken, one bite of rice etc. I like it all mixed in. When I asked the girl to mix it and grill it, she looks at the cashier and rolls her eyes. Let me start by saying I love Qdoba and eat at this particular Qdoba @ least 2 times a week. Though after what happened tonight (6/10/2016 @ 9:05 p.m.), I will not step foot in the place again. We were the last customers of the night with no one else in the restaurant. The lady who waited on us gypped one of the tacos I ordered by putting a half a scoop of meat in the one while preceding to put a full scoop in the other two. When I questioned her she said she put a full scoop in and just by eyeing it you could see it was not even close to the same as the other two. She said I would have to pay extra to put 3-4 pieces of steak in the taco. I told her that it was not a full scoop that she put in so she begrudgingly and with an attitude put 2 little pieces of meat in the taco. She proceeded to slam the tacos down and push them down the way. I told her there was no reason to be rude and she ignored me and asked my husband what he wanted. I saw the manager mopping and told him about the rude encounter and he said, "we only give one scoop". I told him she should be more professional and he looked away and mumbled..."yeah, we'll do better". I understand it's just a taco but the rude behavior & lack of professionalism should be addressed and exposed. read more

Qdoba is a great fast meal that is a great healthy alternative to a sub or fast food. I love the selection of items, prices are a bit much but the meals are HUGE! I enjoy eating here because it is quick. I truly enjoy the grilled vegetable naked burrito. On my visit this week I ordered said naked grilled burrito and the lady behind the counter showed me the 4 measly grilled vegetables she had prepared. She had the gall to look at me and ask, "Is that enough?" Are you serious? Then she got bent out of shape because I wanted her to grill some more. If you are out of grilled vegetables don't you think you should go back and cook some more???? Most of the folks at this location are nice and are happy to fix what you ask for. We love QDOBA, but on our last visit, the customer service at this location left a lot to be desired. I placed our order on the website and it was ready on time. However there were a couple of errors, bad enough that we had to go back to get it corrected. The man at the counter was rude about the correction even though the ticket showed the correct order and the order received was obviously incorrect. Phenomenal food and service. I'm a frequent patron and I have always been treated well. Most of the full-time employees know my order as soon as I walk into the door. The food is fresh and always delicious. The lines are often long, but they cycle through quickly. The dining area is usually clean and tidy. My only complaint is the pricey food and a few employees here and there. Some of the older employees clearly do not enjoy their jobs. Other than this I would recommend this Qdoba for anyone seeking a quality and fresh meal. read more

the food is good terrible service. well, one horrid person. the rest were friendly. I wont lie, I've been there twice this week. I get the same thing every time. white rice, queso, cheese and tomato with a side of queso dip. usually, I pay about $6 for it because they charge by the item on such a small order. Today I went there with 3 orders. The older lady with long gray hair was completely rude. I said I have 3 things, one beef quesadilla, on white. she asked what next, so I said a chicken quesadilla, she slid that down and what else. So I gave her my burrito kind and moved down. She asked if i wanted Cilantro (I said um...I dont think so) and she said they put it on all of them. so why did you ask? and then she asked what on the burrito and proceded to put the quesadillas in the oven. I then said I need veggies on there she raised her voice and said I was supposed to tell her that before. Well, if she had not been such a B word and not tried to rush through it all I would have had time to tell her instead of her just focusing on the burrito and throwing the 2 quesadillas in the oven. so then she was a total B word when she had to start over. The food gets 4 stars for being good and fast, but I give her attitude a 0. The cashier was extremely friendly though. The pregnant lady working along side her also knew she was being rude, I could tell by the glances she was giving.
