Bait and Switch! I requested the $40 gel manicure, but was charged $64 dollars when I switched to a dip. I asked about the price difference before switching and three employees said it was the same. I also was charged for getting my cuticles trimmed, but was not told that was not included in the basic manicure. The work was of good quality, but the dishonest pricing means I won't go back. They don't have much business, so I'm thinking I wasn't the only one who felt scammed. read more

When traveling it is always a win to find a nail salon that my picky 12-year old niece can go to. It was her first time getting gel nails, so she was thrilled. The staff at Q Nails was adhering to the new COVID guidelines, sanitizing in between clients and very professional. I have been going to Q Nails off and on (when I have the funds, poor college kid here), for about 4 years. I wish I had discovered them in high school for prom and such, but alas. They have the best acryllics nails in all of Chillicothe, and I would know because I've tried everywhere else. Their techs truly put time and effort into filing down the acryllics to the perfect shape and thickness. People often think these are my real nails. I recommend leaving plenty of time on weekends if that's when you go, because they tend to get pretty busy. On Saturdays I usually have to wait over an hour. But if you plan for it, it's no big deal. These people are so so rude! I never would recommend this place ever. I showed the lady what i wanted and she threw her tools down and let out the biggest sigh. Then when she was filing my nails she kept pushing the file down and i told her it hurt and she looked up rolled her eyes and ignored me. When i went to the dryer she shoved my hand into the dryer and it smudged my nails. I asked her to redo it and now i have a hole in my nail. This is the absolute worst place ever. The absolute RUDEST employees I have ever experienced at a nail salon. Even when I would ask for simple things, such as a rhinestone , a little design on my nail, or even something classic as a french tip, not only did they deny every single small thing i wanted but they were RUDE and raising their voice at me! First, I waited forever. Which wasn't a big deal, I wasn't busy but no one even came to check on me or acknowledge me. When I finally sit down at a table letting my nails soak, I watch a worker take the acetone from a bowl another customer had used strain it into a bigger bowl and put a lid on it. So now I'm super grossed out about the acetone my hands are soaking in but it's too late at this point. I keep wanting to give the place a chance. But when my nails were shaped they wet crooked, so I asked the nail tech to even then out and she quickly filed over them without actually fixing it. So I bring it up again and she does the same thing, now they are just shorter and still uneven. So I try again to explain and show her that one corner is up higher and I just need that side fixed. She seemed really annoyed and filed quickly again. She started painting before I really got to check. They aren't as bad as before but I still left with slightly uneven nails. I got gel polish and I am noticing that they are very thin. I also have a feeling regular nail polish was used in between the gel coats. But I'm not sure. I have been to so many nail places in town nail spa, real nails, posh nails and Q Nails will always be my go to. I have went there for 8 years now and although I have tried other places I always go back to them. They are so kind. They even make sure to come say hi to me when they see me at my job. This past week they REALLY went above and beyond for me. I got my nails done for my wedding a week in advance to look good for the bachelorette party. Well they were holding great looking good until I hit one very hard. The nail itself held great but made an air bubble under my natural nail (my fault) this happened the day before my wedding. I took the nail off in pain to check my natural nail then quickly went there to get it fixed. I explained the situation and they rushed to fix my nail free to help me get to my rehearsal on time. Today a few days after the wedding I went in to get them cut back and was met with more help and understanding. They put up with a lot from me being picky and are always great about it. Their only down side is the long wait but it is well worth it. Also if you have an emergency explain it and they try to get to you as quick as they can (like me wedding rush they squeezed my fix in while letting someone relax in their pedicure) I could not rate this business high enough. read more

Called to talk to someone and they were rude and I ask for a refund and she said take your business somewhere else and refuse to help me. Worse place to get your nails done. Stay away. read more
