These sandwiches are THICK, golden, buttery slabs of bread hugging melted cheese like it's a warm embrace from grandma. Pro tip: One whole sandwich is basically a cheesy Everest. My husband took half to go. I, on the other hand, showed no restraint. Dessert? Oh yeah. While planning our trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, we came across this opportunity, and I…read morewas adamant that we must do it! :) The location is a bit off the beaten path - approximately a 45 minute drive from Pigeon Forge. Upon arrival, the llamas and two alpacas were ready to socialize. We brought some oatmeal cookies for them to snack on. (See the website for their favorite snacks.) It was so much fun to give them treats, pet them, and start to learn their personalities. When we were ready to hike, we were able to choose which llama to walk with. Oscar was my hiking companion, and my husband took Walker. We had about 8-10 total hiking. Even though it started raining, we still had a great time. The llamas graze along the trail, so this is not a fast-paced hike. Steve, the owner of the farm and our guide, shared stories and information along the trail. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. I haven't stopped talking about it since we did it, and I love going back and looking through my pictures. That's the sign of a great experience!

The facility is extremely clean and put together with many activities like fishing and the petting zoo to do outside of horse riding. The horses are very well taken care of with calm temperaments and know the trails well. The employees are all very kind and helpful, our personal favorite, our guide, Dale. I was the first rider behind Dale and I loved listening to his interesting stories, as-well as his funny commentary and helpful advice for comfort on our ride. You can tell that all employees care not only for the business but the horses, customers, and wildlife. 10/10 experience!!!
