Terrible customer service! Whenever I sent an email, it would take ages or I would have to contact them personally. Ok, fair enough. There's more to come. As a student studying in Dublin, I became interested in their service as I thought they offer a good value for their shipping. I had a lot of things that I wanted to ship back, including food, clothes, etc.. back to my home country, Malaysia. Therefore it was important for the estimated shipment period back to Malaysia to be accurate as I had already calculated according to the expiry date of the food. I shipped my boxes in June and was awaiting for more news in August. It was predicted that it would take about 10 weeks to reach its destination. I waited. August arrived. No news. I became worried and contacted them via email. No reply. Finally, when I took steps to contacting them directly via Facebook, they replied, "We were not able to include your parcel in the July shipment as it was already full with parcels that arrived prior to your parcels. We operate a first in first out policy.". W-WHAT? This would have been acceptable if I had received a short notice, but I did not! So, desperate to just receive my delivery, I waited for it. It came at the end of October. GUESS WHAT IS THE SURPRISE? The parcel came at 11pm in the middle of the night when everybody in my house was asleep! WOW. At this time I was already studying overseas, so I had to trouble my parents to collecting the parcels for me. Again, this would have been okay if there was a short notice. But I was not given one! In the end, I wasted my money, I couldn't use the food that I shipped back. A waste of effort (packing them into the boxes was hard enough) and money. Putraventure definitely offers a good value, but it's not exactly what I would call 'cheap'. read more
